We are seeking a trustworthy and experienced housekeeper and cook for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children, 2 dogs). Approximate hours 5 hours x 3 days a week (15 hours total, flexible). Although not babysitting, the position would suit nannies looking for additional hours during the school day. Competitive remuneration package (based on $42-47 per/hr). You will be responsible for shopping, planning for and preparing 4 family meals, laundry (excluding ironing), changing bed linen, tidying, errands as necessary and general home management. Candidates must have proven experience in family meal preparation and planning. The successful candidate will be reliable, calm and a good cook. You will need to demonstrate initiative in all household management duties, attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Police check and a working with children check required. You must be eligible to work in Australia for at least 2 years. Prior experience preferred. We have a son with significant disabilities and a willingness to assist with his care when required on an ad hoc basis would be desirable (training provided).
