My wife and I are looking for a semi-regular babysitter for our two kids (5yo girl and 7yo boy).
We live in a house in Northcote, between Fairfield and Dennis Stations. We both work as lawyers and have a busy schedule.
We are initially looking for someone who can pick up the kids from Ivanhoe Grammar on Thursdays at 3pm and then take them back to our house until about 6.30pm (so whole shift might be 4 hours for example, from 2.30 to 6.30). We can be flexible and it doesn't have to be every Thursday if you sometimes have other things on.
In addition, we are looking for someone who can do semi-regular babysitting once or twice a month when we have stuff on either on a weeknight or weekend (eg date night, going to a wedding, assisting when our other babysitter is sick etc). This can be subject to your availability and is just optional work.
There is also capacity for you to do Tuesdays after school if you wanted to do that too (as we currently pay to send the kids to after school care on Tuesdays).
For school pickups, you could either borrow our car from our house which has carseats, or catch the train 3 stops to Ivanhoe. We regularly go back and forth to school on the train, it's very easy, and we live about 300m from Fairfield train station.
First meeting would be a (paid) trial run, potentially on Thursday 17 September.
