We live in Northcote (just near Westgarth station) and are both self employed - so we work from home a bit and from our offices in the city. D'Arcy has been working mostly full time since Lilibelle was born and Jess has had time off work but is looking forward to getting back into work soon. We have not had a nanny before. We would like some help maybe around 20 hours a week to start with between now and Christmas. This could be say 6 to 8 hours a day any 3 days of the week. From around mid-January next year we would then like someone around 30 to 40 hours a week. This would be say 3 to 5 days a week for 6 to 10 hours a day We have a large dog (August) who is friendly.

We are looking for an experienced babysitter/nanny to spend each Wednesday with our two children - Alfie (5yrs old) and Hazel (2yrs old) from approx 8am - 6pm. We are after someone that genuinely enjoys spending time with kids and is also comfortable preparing food for them etc.

We are looking for a new permanent full-time nanny to provide care primarily to our younger son who is 3.5yrs old. Our current nanny of more than two years is moving onto a new administrative role. We also have an older boy who is 7.5yrs old and attends school full time. The role is for Monday to Friday. Hours are generally 7.30am starts to 5.50-6pm and some flexibility is required as we are both medical professionals. Fridays can be an earlier finish of about 4pm.

Our employment arrangement is a permanent full-time contract with set hourly rate of $40-44/hr (depending on qualifications and experience) plus superannuation, annual and sick leave entitlements.

Our younger son attends a local kinder program Mon-Thurs 9-12 so we would expect some light housework including basic meal prep, light laundry and tidying assistance.

Our older son has intellectual disability, is non-verbal and attends a special school. He has scheduled after-school activities 4 days a week. He is physically healthy.

We need someone keen and willing to learn to support our older son with disability but specific experience is not essential. We are hoping to find someone long term to be part of our support network for our family and would love to chat further to anyone interested in the role. The role

- Full-time position, commencing Thursday 5 November, with two days' handover alongside our outgoing nanny before her last day on Friday 6 November
- School drop-off and kinder drop-off, both on foot. No car or driving is required for the role, though a parking permit is available if you'd prefer to drive to work.
- During term time in 2027, all three children will be out of the house on Mondays and Wednesdays (kinder 8.30am to 1.00pm, school 9.00am to 3.30pm). We'll generally roster a later start on these two days
- Light housekeeping (eg laundry, children's bed linen changes) and basic children's meal prep (snack preparation) will form part of the role, to bring the position up to full-time hours during these gaps
