Hi everyone!

We are looking for a reliable, creative, and proactive nanny to join our family in Eastwood and care for our curious 22-month-old son, Leo.

Leo is at a wonderful age - he's hitting new milestones with his speech and is very physically active.

We are looking for someone who enjoys the toddler stage and is passionate about supporting a child’s natural curiosity and growth.

What the day looks like:

🌳 Outdoor Exploration: Engaging Leo in the backyard with open-ended play and nature exploration. We value someone who can observe his interests and facilitate activities that encourage his coordination and curiosity. ☀️

📚 Local Outings: We would love for you to take Leo on outings! Whether it’s a trip to the local park for some run-around time or a visit to the library for storytime and discovery. 🌲📖

🧠 Developmental Play: Beyond reading and singing, we are looking for someone who can lead thought-out, age-appropriate activities. This includes vocabulary building, fine motor skills, and sensory play designed around his current milestones. 🧩🎨

🍎 Healthy Meals: Leo is fully on solids. The role involves heating up his prepped meals and encouraging his self-feeding skills and table manners. 🥣

😴 Rest Time: He usually takes one 90-minute nap. This is a perfect opportunity for you to have your lunch, do some light tidying of the play areas/kitchen, and recharge for the afternoon.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

✅ Relevant Childcare Qualifications (Cert III, Diploma, or Bachelor of Education)

✅ Proven experience with toddlers (18 months - 3 years)

✅ Valid WWCC and Police Check

✅ Strong references from previous long-term, similar roles

✅ A genuine passion for developmental play and "following the child’s lead" ✨

✅ Stability: We are looking for a consistent partner to commit to the role for 12+ months.
