I am looking for a nanny or babysitter to work from 6 am until 10 am Monday to Friday. This will entail taking my boys aged 9 and 6 to School and taking my daughters to daycare aged 2 and 3. My other daughters are very quiet. The boys have lots of energy but well behaved and humble. My name is Amanda and my family and I live in West Pymble. We have 2 boys - aged 12 and 14 who attend school a short train ride away. We are looking for someone to work with us on weekdays both in the morning (6.30am to 8am) and afternoons (3.30pm to 6.30pm). The boys are pretty self sufficient and used to the routine. Role would involve keeping them on track in the morning, making them breakfast and lunchboxes and driving them to train station (occasional school drop off may be required around sports training schedules). Then picking them up from local train after school, making afternoon snacks and lunches for next day and driving/picking up from local sports activities a couple of times a week. Our 11-year old has an Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder and is non-verbal, however he is very well adjusted and can get across what he wants easily. We are looking for someone to help us for 15-25 hours per week. Most of these hours would be afternoons / early evenings during the school week. We may also need help on a Saturday, or a night out on the weekend. Whilst we like to run to a schedule, we also value the ability for both parties to be flexible and spontaneous when required. During school holidays, we generally require more hours, often during the daytime while we are working.
We will be welcoming a new baby in April this year and so there will be more hours required to assist with a newborn during the day.
