Meet Eadaoin: A nanny and babysitter in Coogee, NSW

Hi! My name is Eadaoin, and I’m a degree-qualified childcare professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Children’s Studies, currently based in Sydney.

I have a strong background working with children across a range of ages and abilities. My experience includes nannying and babysitting, primary school placement, working as a support worker, and volunteering with organisations such as Barretstown, supporting children with additional needs and their families. I also have a solid understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing, and play-based learning through my academic and practical experience.

Childcare has always been a natural part of my life. I grew up helping care for my younger siblings, who are now 6 and 8 years old, so I’m very comfortable with the daily routines of family life — from school runs and homework help to playtime, meals, bedtime routines and emotional support.

I’m a calm, caring, and reliable nanny who genuinely enjoys building positive relationships with children and families. I value creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel heard, supported, and confident to be themselves. I love engaging children in creative play, outdoor activities, reading, and age-appropriate learning through everyday moments.
