Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Rebecca, and I am a Physical Education and Language teacher from Ireland with over seven years of secondary school teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Sports Studies and Physical Education degree from University College Cork, where I graduated with first-class honours and received two academic scholarships: Quercus College Scholarship and the Keliher Scholarship. Working with children has always been at the heart of my career. As a teacher, I have had the privilege of supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development through engaging and active learning experiences. I have worked in numerous residential camps that catered for ages 3-18 years. Beyond the classroom, I am also an aunt to two lovely nieces, aged six months and three years. Spending time with them has given me first-hand experience in creating a fun, nurturing, and safe environment where children can thrive and grow. In addition to my teaching background, I hold certifications in First Aid and Lifeguarding, and I have extensive experience supervising children in both educational and recreational settings. I pride myself on being caring, reliable, and energetic, and I am passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing through play, creativity, and positive guidance. I am currently teaching in a school in Sydney until 2pm Mon-Fri. I am looking to pick up babysitting in the evenings or over the Christmas break. I would love the opportunity to connect and support your family, bringing the same enthusiasm and care that I bring to my students every day.

Hello! My name is Katherine, and I am a 26 year old artist from the United States! I am on a Working Holiday Visa in Sydney, and I am looking for babysitting work. I love children, and would love to be able to share my artistic skillset and nurture creativity, just as people did for me when I was little! I have had babysitting gigs all throughout my life, mainly caring for my young cousins as a teenager, and working in my church's nursery. In the last few years, I have mainly done art related jobs, but have felt a calling to return to helping parents who are in need of some assistance, as we all do from time to time.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

My name is Bríd Madden, and I’m from Ireland. I’ll be relocating to Australia end of September early October , which I’m incredibly excited about. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit over the years. I love to explore new cultures and new adventures, adapts quickly, and is always eager to embrace new experiences. I have a double honors degree in Psychology and Education from Swansea University, and I’ve always had a deep passion for working with children. Over the past few years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience in childcare and youth work. I’ve worked at summer camps across Germany and the UK, where I was responsible not only for supervising and caring for children, but also for designing and leading engaging games and activities that were both fun and educational. As well as lesson planning and night supervision. These roles taught me how to balance fun with structure and gave me a solid foundation in working with young people of various ages and backgrounds. I have also volunteered with special Olympics and taught both adults and students with Down syndrome to swim and play football. Which I found very rewarding and further taught me about patience and communication. One of my most rewarding roles was working as a Welfare Manager at the Alpadia Language Camp in London. In this position, I was responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers, managing a team of staff, coordinating daily schedules, resolving conflicts, and liaising with parents. It was a role that that thoroughly improved my communication, leadership, and organizational skills, and I found it incredibly fulfilling to create a positive, nurturing environment for both staff and students. In addition to my camp experience, I’ve done a significant amount of babysitting, particularly with children with special needs, including those with Down syndrome, autism, and non-verbal communication styles. These experiences have taught me to be patient, empathetic, and attentive, and I always aim to create a calm, supportive, and joyful environment tailored to each child's unique needs. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me outdoors. I absolutely love being active—whether it’s playing lacrosse, football, Gaelic football, swimming, or hiking. I’m always seeking out new experiences and adventures, and I thrive when I’m surrounded by nature and movement. Another one of my passions is cooking. I love spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, trying out dishes from different cultures, and cooking nutritious meals for friends and family. I’d be delighted to share that joy in your home, whether it’s preparing meals for the kids or baking together as a fun afternoon activity. Overall, I’m a warm, dependable, and energetic person who genuinely enjoys caring for and connecting with children. I bring a strong work ethic, a sense of fun, and a commitment to creating a safe, loving, and enriching environment. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—I’d be more than happy to chat! Warm regards, Bríd Madden

I have just finished working with a family I have been with for over four years and it’s seems my time has come to an end. I previously studied counselling at the University of Notre Dame, where I complete 3 of the four years. This course included the study of child psychology. I also worked at Maroubra play time preschool full time for a little over a year until the business was sold. I am currently enrolled to start my Cert III in Childhood education and care with Randwick Tafe, so will be needing time throughout the week to complete it. I am inherently a patient person and creative person which enables me to handle individuals children behaviours and tailor activities to suit each child’s personality. In my various roles and employment, I have a proven track record of working well in a team environment, developing and maintaining relationships with customers or parents and motivating and leading peers to attain a high standard of service.
