Looking for: Part-time, Casual Babysitting, Au Pair
I have experience working with children in private homes as well as experience working with children in a Child Hello! I'm a warm, reliable and caring local babysitter with many years of experience caring for children in both family homes and my own Family Day Care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and creating a calm, happy environment where they feel safe, valued and encouraged to learn through play.
As well as raising my own son, I have cared for children of a variety of ages, from toddlers through to school-aged children. Earlier in my life, I also worked as an au pair in Brighton and have experience providing babysitting for local families.
One of the things I especially enjoy is sharing creative activities with children. While living in Tasmania, I spent three years studying a wide range of arts and craft subjects at university, including ceramics, textiles, painting and photography. I love encouraging children's creativity through painting, drawing, simple sewing projects, craft activities and imaginative play.
Outside of childcare, I enjoy singing with my local church music group, learning to sew, cooking wholesome meals and spending time with my pets. I'm patient, dependable and enjoy helping children build confidence while having fun.
I come from a local family with three generations connected to the Bayside area and have recently returned home. I would love the opportunity to become a trusted, caring and dependable part of your family's life.
