Meet Nichola: A babysitter in City Beach, WA

Hi, my name is Nichola!

I have a Bachelor of Biomedical Science majoring in population health, and previously studied nursing, so I have a solid understanding of CPR and first aid. I have since built up experience in marketing roles within the health sector.

I have a warm, easygoing approach with kids. I'm not one to raise my voice or force anyone into anything. If a child doesn't want to do something, I'll talk it through with them rather than lay down the law, though I'll always be upfront that mum or dad might not be thrilled when they get home! I find kids respond really well to that kind of honesty rather than being ordered around.

I've been looking after my grandpa since my nona passed away, and I genuinely enjoy caring for people, whether that's a family member or someone else's kids.

I'm neat and organised, so I'm happy to help with light housework, and I love cooking, so meal prep is no trouble at all. I'm also into arts and crafts, so if your kids enjoy getting creative, I'd love to join in.

I've grown up with dogs (I'm my own dog's favourite, he sleeps with me!) and have two birds too, so I'm more than happy to look after any pets you have as well.

I'd describe myself as light-hearted, reliable, hardworking and healthy. In my spare time I enjoy the beach, reading and staying active, so I'm always up for taking the kids on outings too.
