Looking for: Part-time, Casual Babysitting
Hi! I’m currently a second-year student on exchange from the UK in Melbourne, and I’m looking for a part-time/casual babysitting role alongside university.
I would describe myself as responsible, patient, and positive, and I think my previous experiences working with children really reflect that. I have worked as a private tutor teaching French and history to children aged 7 to 12, which taught me how to be supportive while also keeping a good balance of structure and encouragement. I also spent over a year and a half volunteering at the Baytree Centre in London, a girls-only refugee and migrant support centre, where I helped run after-school activities including literacy classes, book clubs, and cooking sessions for girls aged 6 to 13. I truly gained so much learning from those children and became really comfortable working with different personalities and creating a fun and safe environment for them to grow!
I am also the eldest in a pretty big family and constantly surrounded by younger children, so looking after them has always been a natural part of my life. I had to be patient and responsible, which taught me how to handle situations calmly and keep things light and positive.
I am pretty flexible on my schedule, so I’ll be happy to adapt to your family's needs! :)
