Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

Hi! I’m looking for a consistent babysitting/nannying role with a lovely Melbourne family 🤍 I grew up in Melbourne and attended MLC before moving to Canberra last year to study at ANU. I’ve recently moved back home to Melbourne to focus more on work while continuing my university studies online. This gives me lots of flexibility, and I’d really love to find a family I can work with consistently and become a part of their regular routine. I’ve grown up around children and have been babysitting for different families for years. Most recently, I nannied for a family in Canberra with three children aged 5, 8 and 12. I’ve also cared for a 1-year-old baby and have experience with a family of four children, so I’m very comfortable looking after different ages, managing multiple children at once and working within busy family routines. I also have a younger brother, so looking after younger kids and being part of a busy family environment has always felt very natural to me. I genuinely love children and really enjoy building a relationship with them rather than babysitting feeling like just a job. I love being silly and having fun with them, but I’m also dependable, patient and confident when it comes to routines and responsibilities. I’m a very active person ,I currently do Pilates and boxing and grew up playing football and soccer, so I’m always happy to get outside, go to the park, kick a ball around, go for walks or keep active with the kids. I’m also really creative and love painting, drawing and doing arts and crafts, so I’m always coming up with things we can do together rather than relying on screens. I genuinely love cooking and would be more than happy to prepare meals for the children or the whole family. I also really enjoy helping around the house and am more than happy to do laundry, tidying, general housework, organising, grocery shopping and errands. I can help with school drop-offs and pick-ups, after-school activities, homework, dinner, bath and bedtime routines, whatever helps make the household run a little more smoothly. I’m also very happy to take on personal or household assistant work while the children are at school. This could include grocery runs, appointments, shopping and returns, organising the house or cupboards, running errands and helping with general day-to-day tasks. I’m warm, energetic, organised and dependable, and I’d love to find a family looking for someone consistent and long-term. For me, the ideal role would be one where I can really get to know the children and family, become someone they trust and rely on, and make their lives a little easier while creating a fun, safe and happy environment for the kids. Please feel free to message me if you think I could be a good fit for your family! 🤍

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, my name is Maya. I grew up in Bangkok, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and I am Malaysian-Sri Lankan. I have two older brothers, so I grew up in a close family environment. I am currently studying a Diploma in Early Childhood Education in Melbourne. And I currently work part-time at OHSC Camp Australia Before and after school Program. I have around 3 years of experience working with children through volunteering at my church Sunday school program, where I helped care for children aged 1–12 years every Sunday. In this role I supervised children, helped organise snack times, learning activities, games and crafts, and supported the children during lessons and play. I also helped teach Bible stories and activities that focused on values such as kindness, respect, empathy and helping others, and helped guide the children as they participated in these activities. Through my studies I am learning about child development, play-based learning, and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). These frameworks support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development, helping them learn through play while building confidence and independence in a safe and supportive environment. I have a Working With Children Check and HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certification. I am patient, responsible, reliable and attentive, and I enjoy helping with activities, homework, routines and creative play. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident with who is caring for their children, and I always aim to create a safe, caring and supportive environment. I would love the opportunity to meet your family and see if I’m the right fit for your children!

Hi, I’m Lilly, I’m currently a student studying a bachelor of Speech Pathology and eventually would love to work in a paediatric clinic or hospital! At age 15 and onwards I was involved in volunteering as water safety for nippers at Point Leo SLSC, where I assisted children aged 6-14 years old swimming and paddling on boards in rough conditions, helping to build their confidence and surf lifesaving skills. Throughout the holidays, I’ve looked after children aged between 3-12 years old around the neighbourhood. I currently nanny two boys 3 full days a week which i love!! I'm looking to work with another family, mostly afternoons and shorter shifts or a full day on wednesdays. I am a very active person who loves the outdoors, whether that’s camping, surfing, swimming, running, triathlon or walking my border collie! In the past with other kids, I’ve also enjoyed taking them to the park, for walks, doing creative activities such as painting and drawing. And of course, playing games and outdoor activities. I also have had experience and enjoy helping out with homework, driving to school or sport, cooking dinner, reading, washing and getting kids ready for bed.

Hey Family, My name is Cynthia, I’m 26 years old and I’ve been living in Melbourne for the past 11 months. For nine of those months, I worked as an au pair, caring for a three-year-old boy and a five-year-old girl. I became very confident managing daily routines and creating a structured but loving environment. I truly love spending time with children. I enjoy being outdoors with them — going to playgrounds, exploring nature, playing soccer, or simply going for walks. I also love doing creative activities like painting, crafting, and building things together. For me, it’s important that children feel safe, understood, and happy, while also having fun and learning through play. I would describe myself as warm, patient, responsible, and reliable. Hi lovely families, Welcome to my profile ☺️ 🌸 I'm a young at heart mature woman with a beautiful independent 31 year old son. I'm very fit & go to Pilates classes twice a week & also walk daily & enjoy dog-walking too for some clients. I have a positive, upbeat & engaging personality. I was a School Captain & have the ability to get along with all types of people. I have done some voluntary work for Single Family camps creating programs for children at these camps & I was responsible for keeping babies, toddlers & even teens occupied while giving Mum or Dad some much needed respite. This was a fantastic experience & I resided at these 5 day camps solely to help out with the other camp leaders in a Voluntary capacity. I have also worked as a Swimming Teacher with the under 5's which I found very rewarding. While working at several Medical Clinics I have experience working in the treatment room attending to acute Asthma cases under a Doctors guidance, administered an Epi Pen, helped with putting on plasters on broken limbs & treated spider bites etc so hands on Emergency care while awaiting an Ambulance. In my last 14 years working as a Nanny I have cared for twins, multiple children (up to 8 at one time in total) & children with special needs such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, asthma, diabetes, eczema & other challenging health conditions. I'm experienced with new born babies up to teens. I am trustworthy & reliable & known for being punctual. I'm a very good communicator. I’m hard-working, diligent, energetic & enthusiastic and a whole lot of fun! I have trained in nursing and paramedic studies. I have had extensive experience with babies and children dating back to the age of 9 when I babysat the neighbours children (including a couple of newborns!).... in total 15! I have always been mature & responsible beyond my years. I have been surrounded by children my whole life including my 4 younger siblings and 30 1st cousins! I was a mother figure to my 4 younger siblings as my mother was working full-time as a Nursing Sister & my father was away from home a lot in his job as an International Airline Captain. I have had a lot of responsibility thrust upon me from a very young age! I am Aunty to 13 nieces & nephews & am very close to them & we catch up on a regular basis. I enjoy the spontaneous and honest interaction that children provide and I find it immensely rewarding knowing that I am able to influence and help a child to learn and grow confidently. I'm fair with a gentle approach & can be firm while teaching boundaries. I believe all children require stability and need to know they are loved and lovable as a basic right. I never cease to be amazed at the lessons that children can teach us adults! I am inspired by the enthusiasm that children have when learning about the world around them. I tend to establish a good rapport with the young ones I care for which I find very rewarding. Children are so precious & truly a blessing to be cherished. I look forward to meeting you and your precious children. *My rate is dependent on time of day & number of children needing care. As per industry regulations my rate starts at $35 plus per hour & I prefer to work a minimum of 3 hours. Saturday & Sunday jobs attract a higher rate & under 2's especially multiple children my rate starts at $43 (Saturday) & $55 (Sunday). As a tutor helping with homework my rate is the standard rate of $40 helping one student. Thank you. ☺️ *My most recent regular role involved caring for a newborn baby & his toddler brother which I really loved. Their Mum has written an excellent reference that is available for your perusal.* Thanks for your time! Sincerely Yours Fionna 🌸 Thank you for reading. 🌺
