Hi there! I am currently seeking a childcare position in/around the Melbourne area. I am a 26 year old American childcare professional! I have worked with children in many different capacities for over a decade now. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University in 2021 with the highest honours award (Summa Cum Laude). I have worked as an associate teacher in preschool classrooms, a nanny(in long and short term, full and part time), an Au-Pair, a Behavioural Therapist, and casual babysitting. I am living in Sunshine North and I have a valid California Driver’s License, but no car at the moment. I am in Australia on a working holiday visa currently and I am willing to commit to about 6 months, however this can be extended if needed. I can provide many great references and proof of experience. I have just arrived to Australia and I am currently working on obtaining my Working With Children Check as well as renewing my First Aid/CPR course. I am also more than willing to complete any other Police or background checks if requested! I am asking for around $40 an hour, as this is my starting rate in California.
