*Qualified primary school teacher* *COVID-19 trained through Department of Health* *have had flu shot* *I've had 4 Covid-19 vaccinations* About me: I love looking after children and have over 15 years experience in looking after all ages of children from 0 - 13 and older. I am always on time and flexible to the needs of the children and the family as I am easy going and professional. I have a current Police Check (issued 08/07/24) and a Working with Children Check (expiring 31/08/2027). I also have Level 2 First Aid with CPR certificate (issued 14/01/2025), NDIS check (expiring 15/06/26). I am also highly experienced in aged care and disability care and possess a Diploma of Caregiving, Certificates in Dementia Care, Certificate IV in Ageing Support and Certificate IV in Disability. If you have any children/parents/relatives/friends that you could refer to me, that would be much appreciated. I am looking for weekend and evening babysitting work. I am happy to do some light meal preparation - either with the kids or by myself and undertake light household duties like washing, folding, dishes etc. I enjoy engaging with the kids by taking them to the park, pool, play centre, walks, movies, library, zoo etc., during the day or play games, board games, arts and crafts, puzzles or watch movies at night. I also respect the parents’ wishes by following the usual routines. I am not one of those babysitters who puts the kids in front of the TV all day and night. I am happy to supply written and verbal references for your peace of mind. I am responsible and reliable and have a car, licence, and a clean driving record. I can drive the household vehicles, including all car makes and models. I am also experienced in overnight stays, and vacation care including travelling and staying at your holiday house or destination with you and your family over the school holidays or long weekends, including ski holidays. I can negotiate a price on overnight stays and vacation care. I feel comfortable and confident in looking after many children, however, I do prefer to care for no more than 2 children (or 3 if the children are older), this is so I can provide the best possible care at the highest level of supervision. Please no before/after school care pick ups and drop offs. I look forward to meeting you and your family! I have also extended my services to include pet sitting, pet feeding and dog walking. I was voted Pet Sitter of the Month out of over 14,000 pet sitters in Australia. Happy to feed pets if you have any. Please contact me for further details. Thanks. Kylie

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there 😊 Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I genuinely love spending time with children, and I've worked with all ages. From newborns to teenagers. I've had a lot of experience with babies and toddlers so I'm very comfortable and confident with feeding, bathing, changing, and bedtime routines. I also have experience with twins and with using responsive settling to help resolve sleeping issues, so if you're struggling at night or need an extra hand in those early stages, please reach out. My style is warm hearted, kind, patient, nurturing and loving. I practice meditation and mindfulness which flows through to my work and allows me to maintain peace and calm when faced with challenges. I am encouraging and enthusiastic with children, which allows them to blossom and shine in their own unique ways. I love being outdoors and an average day with me usually includes a walk to the local park, nature reserve, cafe, or at the very least a run around the backyard. I also enjoy outings to the Collingwood Children's Farm, Scienceworks, the Museum, the local Library and many more adventures when time permits. I've worked as an au pair in France, a volunteer teacher in Nepal, and a nanny and babysitter in Melbourne. I have a reliable car, I'm willing to travel and I can provide reliable references. *I have been first aid trained for nearly 20 years now and will be updating my certificate soon* Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you and wish you all the best in finding that perfect nanny or babysitter to suit your family.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi families, Welcome to my profile ☺️ 🌺 I'm a young at heart mature woman with a beautiful independent 29 year old son. I have a positive, upbeat & engaging personality. I was a School Captain & have the ability to get along with all types of people. I have done some voluntary work for Single Family camps creating programs for children at these camps & I was responsible for keeping babies, toddlers & even teens occupied while giving Mum or Dad some much needed respite. This was a fantastic experience & I resided at these 5 day camps solely to help out with the other camp leaders. I have also worked as a Swimming Teacher with the under 5's which I found very rewarding. In my last 12 years working as a Nanny I have cared for twins, multiple children (up to 8 at one time in total) & children with special needs such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, asthma, diabetes, eczema & other challenging health conditions. I'm experienced with new born babies up to teens. I am trustworthy & reliable & known for being punctual. I'm a very good communicator. I’m hard-working, diligent, energetic & enthusiastic and a whole lot of fun! I have trained in nursing and paramedic studies. I have had extensive experience with babies and children dating back to the age of 9 when I babysat the neighbours children (including a couple of newborns!).... in total 15 !! I have always been mature & responsible beyond my years. I have been surrounded by children my whole life including my 4 younger siblings and 30 1st cousins! I was a mother figure to my 4 younger siblings as my mother was working full-time as a Nursing Sister & my father was away from home a lot in his job as an International Airline Captain. I have had a lot of responsibility thrust upon me from a very young age! I am Aunty to 13 nieces & nephews & am very close to them & we catch up on a regular basis. I enjoy the spontaneous and honest interaction that children provide and I find it immensely rewarding knowing that I am able to influence and help a child to learn and grow confidently. I'm fair with a gentle approach & can be firm while teaching boundaries. I believe all children require stability and need to know they are loved and lovable as a basic right. I never cease to be amazed at the lessons that children can teach us adults! I am inspired by the enthusiasm that children have when learning about the world around them. I tend to establish a good rapport with the young ones I care for which I find very rewarding. Children are so precious & truly a blessing to be cherished. Importantly I am pro-active with a 'can do' attitude & I have a keen eye for detail so nothing goes unnoticed! I am very safety-conscious so your childs welfare is of utmost importance to me at all times. I can be flexible with time & I am more than happy to work with you to suit you and your childrens ongoing needs. I also do pet-minding/house sitting (many years now since I was a young girl) & have had a dog walking/dog training gig too so I'm comfortable with all types of pets. I love all animals. 🤗 *Important to know...... I have had my car licence for 40 years & I'm a very cautious driver with a full licence & faultless record with Zero accidents & no demerits! I look forward to meeting you and your precious children. *My rate is dependent on time of day & number of children needing care. As per industry regulations my rate starts at $35-40 per hour & I prefer to work a minimum of 3 hours. As a tutor helping with homework my rate is the standard rate of $40 helping one student. Thank you. ☺️ *My most recent role involved caring for a newborn baby & his toddler brother which I really loved. Their Mum has written an excellent reference that is available for your perusal.* Thanks so much for reading & have a lovely day! Sincerely yours Fionna

Looking for: Full-time

I am someone who finds deep fulfillment in helping others, connecting with children, immersing myself in nature, and exploring new places and experiences. At the heart of who I am is a strong desire to make a positive difference—whether it's through small acts of kindness, offering support to those in need, or simply being present and engaged in the lives of others. Helping people has always come naturally to me. I believe in the power of empathy and understanding, and I strive to be someone others can turn to for comfort, encouragement, or guidance. There’s something incredibly meaningful about knowing that even the smallest gesture—listening without judgment, offering a hand, or simply being there—can have a lasting impact on someone's life. This passion has led me to seek out roles and opportunities that allow me to serve others, whether through volunteering, mentoring, or community involvement. One of the most joyful and rewarding aspects of my life is spending time with children. Their energy, honesty, and curiosity are refreshing and inspiring. I enjoy fostering their growth, supporting their development, and simply being a positive influence in their lives. Working or playing with kids brings out the best in me—it reminds me of the importance of patience, creativity, and unconditional love. I believe every child deserves to be heard, valued, and nurtured, and I take pride in being someone who helps them feel safe and supported. Equally important to me is my love for the outdoors. Nature has always been a place where I feel grounded, recharged, and inspired. Whether it’s hiking through forests, swimming at the beach, or just taking a walk in the fresh air, being outside gives me a sense of peace and connection that I can’t find anywhere else. I believe that time in nature not only helps us understand the world better but also ourselves. It encourages mindfulness, resilience, and a greater appreciation for the simple things in life. Travel is another passion that deeply shapes who I am. I love discovering new cultures, trying unfamiliar foods, learning different languages, and connecting with people from all walks of life. Traveling opens my mind and heart to the vastness and diversity of the world. Each journey teaches me something new—about other people and places, but also about myself. It pushes me out of my comfort zone, fuels my sense of adventure, and strengthens my belief in the beauty of human connection. At my core, I’m someone who values growth, compassion, and meaningful experiences. I thrive when I’m learning, giving, and connecting—whether that’s through supporting others, engaging with children, exploring the great outdoors, or embarking on new adventures. Life, to me, is about creating moments that matter and relationships that uplift. I carry these passions with me into everything I do, always seeking ways to bring light, joy, and support into the lives of others. I’m driven by curiosity, fueled by kindness, and grounded in a genuine love for people and the world around me. Wherever life takes me, I strive to live with intention, to serve with heart, and to never stop learning from the experiences, challenges, and beauty life has to offer.

I am working as an early childhood educator. I also do children events on weekends (hair braiding, henna/mehandi, face painting, bubbles, balloon twisting). Before this, I have worked as an OSHC educator with YMCA. I have been working with 6 months to 12 years old children for more than 1.5 years. I have also worked as a full time nanny of 1.5 years old child. My job was taking him for nap, feeding him, taking him to the park twice a day, playing and engaging with him while parents were not around, taking care of him. I used engage with him and his sister with some activities like building blocks, reading stories, playing with balls and many more, especially when it was rainy day and we could not go out to the park.In the park, we used collect different kinds of leaves, sand and tanbarks to pretend like they are shopkeeper or seller and I am customer (who wants to buy food in exchange of money (leaves). Some cooking activities with sand and tankbark, such as baking cake, pancake and so on.
