Hi, I am a mature, experienced, active, healthy, happy and passionate carer. I have been looking after children since I was 13. Have two grown up children and 4 grandchildren. Currently working as a Nanny/ PA . I cook, tidy, sort, organize, cater and personally assist with errands for various families already. Now I am ready to fill my available times in my working week.. I have experience with newborns and I can help new mother's also. I can do some casual work in my spare time, or have permanent work, if it fits my weekly workload. I have kept in touch long term with some of the families who I’ve worked for in the past. I have experience from newborn to teenagers. Lately I have been working with babies a lot... I speak, read and write fluent English and Hungarian,( I can understand a very minimal German .)-- also teach and participate in Hungarian folk-dance two evenings a week. Dancing is a big part of my life, it is a great way to keep fit!! Also love gardening, and spending time on the beach...or riding my bike.. I am a MOTIVATED, EXPERIENCED, CARING, RESPONSIBLE, PATIENT, and RELIABLE person with common sense, and good organizing skills. I have worked with a family with multiple children, and have taken sole care of 3 children under 3 years old, including twins and premature newborns. I love children, and they love me too :-) Would prefer daytime work (available from early morning), but I will be happy to do casual hrs as well. You will be surprised what can be achieved in a few hrs in the morning! I can be very flexible for the right family, as all my references will tell you. Family pets are no problem. I have checkable (GREAT) references for you. Looking forward to hearing from you. ****Thank you, and have a great day :). Maria H

Looking for: Part-time

Hi Parents! I’m a 31-year-old professional nanny based in St Kilda, where I share my home with three Australian budgies. Coming from a large family, I’m lucky to have five nieces and two nephews who keep things fun and lively! What started as casual babysitting sparked a deep passion for childhood development and supporting families in creating balanced, efficient households. This passion has led me to a rewarding career as a nanny. With eight years of experience, I’ve had the pleasure of working with children ranging from 8 months to 16 years old. My first professional role involved working 30 hours a week with two wonderful girls, aged 3 and 6. My responsibilities included all transportation to and from school and after-school activities, assisting with homework, and providing engaging entertainment through arts and crafts, dance classes, and other fun activities. I also prepared dinner (I love to cook!), managed bath and bedtime routines, and handled light household duties like laundry and home organisation. I helped with errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, post office duties and taking their dog for walks. I’ve had the privilege of working with a variety of families throughout my career. One of my roles involved caring for three older children, a 9-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy, and a 13-year-old boy. My responsibilities included providing safe transportation to and from after-school activities, assisting with homework, and ensuring they had everything they needed for the next day’s activities. I also prepared lunch boxes, cooked delicious meals and maintained a fun and engaging environment for the kids with baking and various board games. In addition to my nannying experience, I’ve worked as a chaperone for Kidz On Set, ensuring the safety and well-being of children on set and backstage during productions. I was also a dance coach at Haileybury College, teaching students from Prep through to Year 10. I currently hold a valid Working With Children Check, Police Check, full driver’s licence, my own car, and First Aid certification, including CPR. I’m also particularly fond of dogs and cats! Earlier in my career, I spent two years working with two ambitious boys, aged 8 months and 3 years. This experience helped me develop my skills in infant care, ensuring their happiness and health while providing a nurturing and structured environment. My duties included managing household cleanliness, laundry, cooking balanced meals, maintaining nap and bedtime routines, and organising outings to libraries and parks. I also created sensory and developmental activities to promote their emotional and cognitive development. Currently, I’m working with a family and have Wednesdays and Fridays available. Ideally, I’d love to find a role with a long-term commitment. I believe it’s important for children to have a reliable, committed nanny who can adapt to a family’s needs and I’m excited for the opportunity to bring my skills and experience to a new family. Thank you 😊 Paris

I am energetic and absolutely love being with little children out, playing, movement, dancing, singing, making food, walks and discovering the little things in our world outdoors. Have been a nanny for 10 years, researched and experienced the early childhood and development field and have completed my Diploma in early childhood in 2018. Even though I explored the early childhood field in childcare centres my delight is in being out and about mostly in nature with kids exploring the local surroundings, bugs, plants, birds, playgrounds etc. Sometimes even a walk when done slowly, just down the street can be amazing. When we stop and notice the scents, sounds and each little thing that is there. I find this to be a favourite of children and I enjoy being in the present moment with them. My background has been in fashion design and at the moment the wellbeing space.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey families, My name is Marnie, and I'm 35, and I have over 19 years of experience in teaching, childcare and nannying and find these roles both professionally rewarding as well as consistent with my personal values. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Education (Primary), Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and a Certificate 3 in Children's Services. Over the past four years, I have been a classroom teacher at a primary school in Brighton East. My role as a teacher has encompassed various aspects of children’s academic, social, and emotional growth. Being a teacher is incredibly rewarding. Not only do you see students’ growth and progress academically, but you can build connections, make a meaningful difference and leave a long-lasting impact on these students' lives. I have a deep understanding of child development, learning styles, and age-appropriate activities. This knowledge allowed me to create engaging and educational experiences for children in my care. I have experience in managing various classrooms and working with diverse groups of students honing my ability to handle different behaviours and adapt to individual needs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children I care for. But there is one thing I truly miss, caring for children in their home. Being that person in a household who is spreading kindness, care, and support. Before becoming a primary school teacher, I was a nanny. I have worked for several families within Australia and internationally (USA and Canada). My responsibilities included caring for newborn twins, and older children, following routines (including sleep patterns, feeding, and bathing), assisting with household cleaning, driving children to and from after-school activities, assisting with homework, and maintaining close communication with parents. Whilst I was studying for my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, where I was successful in gaining a scholarship through Swinburne University of Technology, to go to Vietnam. During this visit, I was volunteering in Hanoi, teaching English to prep-aged children. It was a fantastic experience and extended my childcare experience, as well as providing learning experiences in another culture, and participating in their usual day-to-day life activities. Prior to this experience, I was a nanny in America. This position involved living-in with a family in New Jersey, USA where I cared for their two children (girls now aged 4 and 8). Living full-time in the family house meant that it was important that my approach and behaviours aligned with the rules and principles of the family. I've also taken on additional roles working with children, such as a Ski Instructor at Mt Buller Ski Resort and an Assistant Educator at Explorer’s Early Learning Centre. These positions showcase my proficiency and professionalism in the field. I have a mature, responsible, and professional way of caring for children and I pride myself on creating a positive, happy environment in which children can thrive. As I'm a primary school teacher, I would not be able to start exactly at 3:30 pm, as that's when our school day ends. However, depending on where you're located, I could get there by 3:45-4:00 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We have meetings on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I wouldn't be able to start until 5:00 pm.
