I'm looking for a casual/part-time nannying role for a reliable family while I study at university and for during the uni break. I have experience through volunteering at a Church in the Children’s room for approx. 2 years. I've taken care of children of various ages (18 months - 12 years) and I've helped with snack preparation, cleaning duties, as well as have organised/been involved in fun activities (including crafts, face painting, etc.). I also currently volunteer at a local Church in the Children’s room. Asditionally, I have taken care of my nephew (from 7 months) parents worked. My day involved walks to the park, feeding solids & offering bottles, and playing around baby’s sleep schedule. My sister has also been a well-loved nanny for 9+ years, and I take all of her tips and tricks of the trade on-board, and am very appreciative of it and she is happy to be my personal reference if desired. With my calm and nurturing nature, I'm confident in creating a safe, loving, and enjoyable environment for the children in my care. I have a positive attitude and am both enthusiastic and engaging. I also respect the parents’ wishes by following the usual routines. I am not one of those babysitters who puts the kids in front of the TV all day and night. I can drive the household vehicles, including all car makes and models. I am also experienced in overnight stays, and vacation care including travelling and staying at your holiday house or destination with you and your family over the school holidays or long weekends, including ski holidays. I can negotiate a price on overnight stays and vacation care. I feel comfortable and confident in looking after many children, however, I do prefer to care for no more than 2 children (or 3 if the children are older), this is so I can provide the best possible care at the highest level of supervision.
