As a former Art and Drama Teacher I have over 35 years experience working with both Secondary & Primary Students. I have run my own Dog training and walking by business for the last 20 years. Over the past 10 years I have worked as a nanny for some lovely families and have found the experience very fulfilling. Over the last 3 years I have been employed by a great family, caring primarily for their now 9 yr old daughter and also helping out with their 12 yr old son. I have only left their employ as the mum suddenly had to leave her job. I worked from 3.30-6.30 Tuesday through Thursday, picking up the daughter, caring for her at home, preparing dinner, helping out with laundry etc & driving the kids to sporting activities. During 2022 I worked for a wonderful family in Camberwell caring for their two daughters Each day I picked up the girls from school, assisted with cleaning, tidying up, washing etc, cooked dinner, helping with homework & driving them to activities. In 2021 I cared for 2 children aged 7yrs & 4 yrs, picking them up from kinder and school. I took them swimming, liased with other parents for frequent play dates, organised social play at local park during the pandemic lockdowns, assisted with online learning and worked many full time days throughout school holidays or when children had to quarantine. During 2019-2020 I was a nanny to two boys in Richmond. Concurrently I run my own Dog Walking & Training business. I have a genuine love and a special gift connecting with children. I am a very caring, reliable, fun, warm, patient, responsible creative, sporty person with a degree specializing in Art, Drama and Media. NANNYING OVER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!! From the 24th of September to 4th August, I will be available for all day nannying/ babysitting. Almost retired, and still with a lot of energy. This is a big reset for me (knowing that my circumstance , now with an older daughter who is already independent)have changed. Although I have no professional baby-sitting experience in my resume, I have to say I love being around children, and am proud to have cared for my daughter , and have helped raised and cared for a niece and a nephew. I like doing my domestic chores (a household of 3) from cleaning, gardening, vacuuming, ironing/laundry, cooking, bedroom grooming, and will be comfortable doing these for a job, on top of caring for the baby/children as a priority, with care and respect.
