Looking for: Part-time

Hi, I'm Sabrina! I'm stocked to introduce myself as a prospective babysitter, and I'm excited about the opportunity to work with your family. With a lifelong passion for working with children, I've been an unofficially babysitter to my baby sister since I was 10 years old and have been the go-to unpaid babysitter for my younger cousins. Additionally, I've worked at a preschool, organized summer camp activities, and worked with children aged 3 to teens. These experiences have not only honed my skills but also deepened my love for creating engaging and nurturing environments for kids. The kids I've worked with would likely describe me as the "coolest and most fun teacher" - an empathic listener, a great storyteller (I'm also the author of two books!), and maybe a bit of a softie when it comes to board games (I like to let them win!). My sister, on the other hand, might offer a more critical perspective, but I'm sure she'd agree that I'm responsible, ensure things don't get out of control, and prioritize her well-being including limiting screen time and making sure she eats and sleeps on time! As a babysitter, I'm committed to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for your little ones. I'm passionate about getting to know each child as an individual and tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs and interests. I'm enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with your family and would love the chance to discuss how I can contribute to your child's care and development. Thank you for considering my application! Best regards, Sabrina Fernandez

From an early age, I discovered my love for caring for babies, toddlers, and young kids, starting as a babysitter at 13 in my hometown of Castlemaine. In my 20s, I worked in childcare centres before transitioning into a career as a professional singer, alongside raising two wonderful sons who are now 28 and 20. Over the years, I’ve remained deeply involved in caregiving—helping raise my nieces, babysitting for families, and working in aged care and disability support. My Approach to Childcare I strive to create a nurturing, fun, and structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and engaged. I believe in the importance of routine, ensuring children are well-rested and happy. I love incorporating creativity and learning into daily activities, whether through reading, music, arts and crafts, puzzles, or imaginative play. With my background in music, I enjoy singing lullabies, teaching songs, and use music as a calming tool. I also have a strong focus on health and well-being—I love cooking nutritious meals (I come from an Italian background and am confident in the kitchen!), and I encourage cleanliness and appropriate dressing for all weather conditions. Light household duties are absolutely fine, as I work best in a clean and organised space. Why Choose Me? Looking for: Full-time

I'm Kayla, a 32-year-old nanny with 11 years of experience in bringing smiles, laughs, and love to three families. I’m super excited to be moving back to Melbourne (my home away from home) and am looking for a fantastic family to join and support. I am looking for a full time, ideally live out position, 4-5 days per week. For the past 7 years I have been a member of the Millar family, in Hamilton New Zealand, close to where I grew up. I have helped raise and care for 4 children originally aged 10, 9, 6 and 3 – one boy and three girls. This has been a varied position with structuring the youngest’s earlier years, while navigating the older children's time at school, managing the house including preparing daily meals, groceries, errands and additional support to other family businesses. All of my previous roles (as outlined on CV and covering letter) were full-time, live-out positions, and I pride myself on being organized, reliable, patient, and adaptable. I’m also pretty good at rolling with whatever parenting style works best for the family – if you’ve got a rhythm, I’ll be right there with you! Available start of August, could be sooner for the right role.

I am working as an early childhood educator. I also do children events on weekends (hair braiding, henna/mehandi, face painting, bubbles, balloon twisting). Before this, I have worked as an OSHC educator with YMCA. I have been working with 6 months to 12 years old children for more than 1.5 years. I have also worked as a full time nanny of 1.5 years old child. My job was taking him for nap, feeding him, taking him to the park twice a day, playing and engaging with him while parents were not around, taking care of him. I used engage with him and his sister with some activities like building blocks, reading stories, playing with balls and many more, especially when it was rainy day and we could not go out to the park.In the park, we used collect different kinds of leaves, sand and tanbarks to pretend like they are shopkeeper or seller and I am customer (who wants to buy food in exchange of money (leaves). Some cooking activities with sand and tankbark, such as baking cake, pancake and so on. Some activities like changing his nappy, cleaning and sanitizer tha milk and water bottles was also part of routine.
