Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I have been a stay at home mum for the past 9 years with a son now aged 9. Prior to this I was a registered Nurse for 8years and Naturopath for 2years. As well as experience caring for my own son and his many cousins, I have provided before and after school care in my home for children from my son's school. I'd love to help and support parents who need a hand with getting on top of things. Whether that be help caring for children or help in the home with cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, sport drop off, pick up, etc. I understand parenting is a big job and I'd be delighted to help where I can. Having a health background I am very skilled and hands on in many areas of care. I am kind natured with a relaxed demeanor which is important as children pick up on this. I love children of all ages!. I love indoor and outdoor activities including craft, games and sport. My son has been Steiner educated so very familiar with this method of education. I love nature and respect the environment so would feel uncomfortable using heavy duty cleaning products and contributing excessively to environmental waste. I look forward to connecting with you. Thanks for reading!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I'm 31 years old with over a decade of casual and industry experience. I'm looking for casual or permanent part-time positions. I encourage healthy eating and physical play as a good foundation for happy kids, and am a strong advocate for free range outdoor exploration. I have my full drivers license, an Employment Working With Children Check, and first aid qualifications including CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis. I have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and I currently work permanent part-time Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in an early learning centre. My rates are $30 an hour, with overnight sitting $35. Caring for toddlers is the bulk of my experience, but I have looked after children of all ages, including newborns and teens. Please note that whilst I have previously done school drop-off/pick-up only jobs, they're not my preference. I enjoy actively engaging with children and planning engaging experiences. I have experience working with large families (5 or more children), children with autism, and chronically ill children. I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19. I'm looking for part-time positions, casual babysitting, and night nanny roles. LGBTQIA+ friendly

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I’m a caring, reliable, and experienced babysitter with a genuine love for working with children. At 24 years old, I bring years of hands-on experience, including three years as an au pair in London, where I cared for a young boy and became an integral part of the family. My responsibilities ranged from managing daily routines and overnight stays also including travelling solo with him on a holiday to Spain. The family I previously worked with was truly wonderful, and my role extended beyond just being a nanny—I became a valued member of their home. I’m adaptable, fun, and always focused on creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. I’m also NOT shy of housework. I look forward to meeting a great family and becoming a trusted part of your little one’s world! 😊

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi lovely families, I’m Michelle a mum of 2 grown daughters and 2 amazing grandsons. I have been working as a nanny for a wonderful family in Balwyn North for the past 11 years. As the children are now both in secondary school my hours have been reduced, since the children are quite independent. (i still do 3 midweek evening shifts each week from Tuesday to Thursday). I have thoroughly enjoyed my varied role within the family over the past 11 years, and I would absolutely love to meet another family with a view to a similar long term position. I am happy to prepare meals, drive the children to before and after school commitments, assist with homework, perform light housework, etc and follow parent routines. My reason for choosing babysitting/nannying is that I enjoy being part of a busy household, and especially being around, and caring for children. In my view, children thrive in an environment which is positive and nurturing, and a sense of humour is essential. I studied teaching part time for 5 years (completed most of my degree) while my girls were younger, and have tutored numerous primary and secondary students in Maths over the years. I am looking for a permanent part time position, and am happy to babysit/nanny in the mornings, evenings, and over the weekends on a casual basis as well. I know from experience, how difficult it can be to juggle work, and family time. I am an energetic, positive, easy going person, and I will thoroughly enjoy getting to know another family. If you feel that I would be a welcome addition to your family, I would love you to contact me. I would also love to hear from you if you require someone for casual evenings, or weekends. I am also free for school holiday care. I am very responsible and reliable, and I’m happy to obtain a first aid certificate prior to commencing work. Thank you Michelle

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Emma. I have over 16 years experience in early childhood and hold my Diploma in Children's Services and Working With Children's Check. For 10 years I worked as a room leader at a small early learning centre, where I cared for children aged 0-6 and eventually was the Assistant Director for a few years. I also worked as a kindergarten assistant at a sessional kinder, while nannying for two families in the afternoon/ evenings. I left my role at the kinder and nannying at the end of 2019, just before my daughter was born. I’ve had lots of other experience with casual and regular babysitting / nannying for children of all ages. This included over night and weekly stays while parents were out of town for work or social events. As well as school and kinder pick ups, taking children to other activities and maintaining consistency with their routine and schedules eg. Dinner, homework, bed time etc. I prioritise building trusting relationships with the children I care for, where they can feel safe and accepted to be themselves and know that their opinions, needs and interests are valued. When I’m nannying, the children’s needs always come first. But I’m also more than happy to help out with any general home duties and will always make myself useful when the opportunity arises, as I know the difference this can make to a parents workload. I’m a genuine, easy going and honest person. I love finding experiences that spark children’s joy and imagination and bringing this into our time together. I respect the values, structure and expectations of the families I work with and do my best to maintain consistency in this. I’ve always loved my work with children and their families and since becoming a mum myself, I’ve come to appreciate and understand even more, just how important it is to find the right person to welcome into your family, home and children’s lives. If you feel that my personality and experience might suit your family, please feel free to get in touch. I’m happy to email through my resume or answer any questions. Please note that my daytime availability for regular care is on Tues, Wed and Fridays between 10am-2pm only. More than happy to discuss times outside of this for casual/ semi regular care. My rate is $35 ph for up to two children, $40 ph for 3 or more. Thank you

Hi there 😊 Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I genuinely love spending time with children, and I've worked with all ages. From newborns to teenagers. I've had a lot of experience with babies and toddlers so I'm very comfortable and confident with feeding, bathing, changing, and bedtime routines. I also have experience with twins and with using responsive settling to help resolve sleeping issues, so if you're struggling at night or need an extra hand in those early stages, please reach out. My style is warm hearted, kind, patient, nurturing and loving. I practice meditation and mindfulness which flows through to my work and allows me to maintain peace and calm when faced with challenges. I am encouraging and enthusiastic with children, which allows them to blossom and shine in their own unique ways. I love being outdoors and an average day with me usually includes a walk to the local park, nature reserve, cafe, or at the very least a run around the backyard. I also enjoy outings to the Collingwood Children's Farm, Scienceworks, the Museum, the local Library and many more adventures when time permits. I've worked as an au pair in France, a volunteer teacher in Nepal, and a nanny and babysitter in Melbourne. I have a reliable car, I'm willing to travel and I can provide reliable references including one family that I worked with for 8 years. *I have been first aid trained for nearly 20 years now and will be updating my certificate as soon as I can!* Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you and wish you all the best in finding that perfect nanny or babysitter to suit your family.
