Hello lovely families! Caring for babies and toddlers is a whole adventure—they’re learning to express themselves, test independence, and navigate big emotions—and I’m here with compassion, kindness, trust and joy.
I’m Julie, a 59-year-young mother of two grown men and the wife of a sports psychologist. I can bring 30 years of experience as a nurse, midwife, and doula soothing and supporting your journey through the world of pre and post parenthood. I keep up with the latest in parenting.
I love guiding children through their big feelings, I offer gentle, trusting, flexible and soothing support, I believe every child needs a soft place to fall and feel protected. I offer regular updates while you’re away.
I’ve converted our courtyard where my neighbouring children come to fossic around encouraging curiosity. I understand the ups and downs of parenthood, so I’m here to help your little one thrive. I can keep you up to date with your precious one’s activities while you’re away.
In my spare time I love my walks by the Maribyrnong river with coffee at the Boathouse, gardening, reading, sketching and painting with my son, I love swimming and the massage chair at the gym !
I would love to have a chat and discuss your and your needs.

“Julie's lovely nature and personality, mixed with her work ethic and dedication made her a standout in her field. Given the opportunity to have Julie working within my unit again, I would not hesitate to recommend her.”

“It was an amazing experience having Julie as my doula, she went over the birth plan with me a lot. I really appreciated everything Julie did for me and for my family, Julie was really supportive and really listened. She was like family.”
