Hi lovely families, Welcome to my profile ☺️ 🌸 I'm a young at heart mature woman with a beautiful independent 31 year old son. I'm very fit & go to Pilates classes twice a week & also walk daily & enjoy dog-walking too for some clients. I have a positive, upbeat & engaging personality. I was a School Captain & have the ability to get along with all types of people. I have done some voluntary work for Single Family camps creating programs for children at these camps & I was responsible for keeping babies, toddlers & even teens occupied while giving Mum or Dad some much needed respite. This was a fantastic experience & I resided at these 5 day camps solely to help out with the other camp leaders in a Voluntary capacity. I have also worked as a Swimming Teacher with the under 5's which I found very rewarding. While working at several Medical Clinics I have experience working in the treatment room attending to acute Asthma cases under a Doctors guidance, administered an Epi Pen, helped with putting on plasters on broken limbs & treated spider bites etc so hands on Emergency care while awaiting an Ambulance. In my last 14 years working as a Nanny I have cared for twins, multiple children (up to 8 at one time in total) & children with special needs such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, asthma, diabetes, eczema & other challenging health conditions. I'm experienced with new born babies up to teens. I am trustworthy & reliable & known for being punctual. I'm a very good communicator. I’m hard-working, diligent, energetic & enthusiastic and a whole lot of fun! I have trained in nursing and paramedic studies. I have had extensive experience with babies and children dating back to the age of 9 when I babysat the neighbours children (including a couple of newborns!).... in total 15! I have always been mature & responsible beyond my years. I have been surrounded by children my whole life including my 4 younger siblings and 30 1st cousins! I was a mother figure to my 4 younger siblings as my mother was working full-time as a Nursing Sister & my father was away from home a lot in his job as an International Airline Captain. I have had a lot of responsibility thrust upon me from a very young age! I am Aunty to 13 nieces & nephews & am very close to them & we catch up on a regular basis. I enjoy the spontaneous and honest interaction that children provide and I find it immensely rewarding knowing that I am able to influence and help a child to learn and grow confidently. I'm fair with a gentle approach & can be firm while teaching boundaries. I believe all children require stability and need to know they are loved and lovable as a basic right. I never cease to be amazed at the lessons that children can teach us adults! I am inspired by the enthusiasm that children have when learning about the world around them. I tend to establish a good rapport with the young ones I care for which I find very rewarding. Children are so precious & truly a blessing to be cherished. Importantly I am pro-active with a 'can do' attitude & I have a keen eye for detail so nothing goes unnoticed! I am very safety-conscious so your childs welfare is of utmost importance to me at all times. I can be flexible with time & I am more than happy to work with you to suit you and your childrens ongoing needs. I also do pet-minding/house sitting (many years now since I was a young girl) & have had a dog walking/dog training business too so I'm comfortable with all types of pets. I love all animals. 🤗 *Important to know...... *I'm up to date (2025) with my Whooping Cough vaccination (pertussis)* I have had my car licence for 40 years & I'm a very cautious driver with a full licence & faultless record with Zero accidents & no demerits! I look forward to meeting you and your precious children. *My rate is dependent on time of day & number of children needing care. As per industry regulations my rate starts at $35 plus per hour & I prefer to work a minimum of 3 hours. Saturday & Sunday jobs attract a higher rate & under 2's especially multiple children my rate starts at $43 (Saturday) & $55 (Sunday). As a tutor helping with homework my rate is the standard rate of $40 helping one student. Thank you. ☺️ *My most recent regular role involved caring for a newborn baby & his toddler brother which I really loved. Their Mum has written an excellent reference that is available for your perusal.* Thanks for your time! Sincerely Yours Fionna 🌸 Thank you for reading. 🌺

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

With over 20 years of nannying experience across all age groups from newborns to teenagers, including twins—I specialize in supporting children with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, ADD, OSD, and PDA. Currently pursuing a Diploma in Community Services, I've discovered my true passion working as a support specialist for families with children who have additional needs. For 28 years, I built and operated a successful beauty therapy business, running my own salon for 17 years. This entrepreneurial journey developed my organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail—qualities that translate seamlessly into providing reliable, professional childcare. My business experience taught me to create safe, welcoming environments while managing multiple responsibilities and anticipating needs before they arise. When surgery required me to close my business last year, I embraced this transition as an opportunity to pursue my newfound calling in childcare and education. As a mother to an 18-year-old son, I've navigated every stage of child development—from early childhood care through supporting a teenager with academic challenges and personal growth. I homeschooled my son from Year 8 to Year 10. He then completed Year 11 and Year 12 at a public high school. This hands-on parenting experience has instilled in me the patience, adaptability, and understanding that forms the foundation of my childcare approach. I combine maternal wisdom with professional expertise, creating an environment where children feel secure while being encouraged to reach their potential. My approach emphasizes nurturing support within gentle structure, helping children thrive at their own pace. The mutual connection I've discovered with children who have additional needs has revealed where my true passion lies. They are drawn to me as much as I am drawn to them, creating the foundation for meaningful, supportive relationships that help children flourish.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

Hi families! I'm Kara, a professional nanny with over ten years' experience caring for children from 5 months to 15 years old, across live-in, live-out, and au pair roles in Melbourne and London. I'm looking for $45–50/hr plus super, paid via payslip (PAYG). Childcare has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, but it was during my time as a live-in nanny in London that I truly found my passion for this work — being trusted with a family's daily routine and watching a child grow under my care is genuinely where I feel most fulfilled. I manage full daily routines including school, kinder, and daycare drop-offs and pick-ups, meal preparation, homework support, and bedtime, alongside broader household tasks like laundry, tidying, and meal planning. I'm patient, organised, and adaptable, and I take real pride in creating a secure, loving environment where children feel safe to be themselves and grow with confidence. I hold a current Working with Children Check and Paediatric First Aid certification, and I have my own car and a full driver's licence. I'm looking for an ongoing nanny role where I can nurture a family from the ground up — I'd also welcome a role that blends childcare with house manager or personal assistant support. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to connect, I'd love to hear from you!

Hi there 😊 Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I genuinely love spending time with children, and I've worked with all ages. From newborns to teenagers. I’ve had a lot of experience with babies and toddlers so I'm very comfortable and confident with feeding, bathing, changing, and bedtime routines. My style is warm hearted, kind, patient, nurturing and loving. I practice meditation and mindfulness which flows through to my work and allows me to maintain peace and calm when faced with challenges. I am encouraging and enthusiastic with children, which allows them to blossom and shine in their own unique ways. I also love working with neurodivergent people and am currently working part time as a disability support worker. I have my own ABN and insurance that covers all aspects of my work in both the disability support work and nannying/babysitting sectors. I generally invoice through my business but I'm happy to discuss employment terms for more long-term roles as well. I love being outdoors and an average day with me usually includes a walk to the local park, nature reserve, cafe, or at the very least a run around the backyard. I also enjoy outings to the Collingwood Children's Farm, Scienceworks, the Museum, the local Library and many more adventures when time permits. I've worked as an au pair in France, a volunteer teacher in Nepal, and a nanny and babysitter in Melbourne for over 10 years. I have a reliable car with lots of room for kids seats, I'm willing to travel and I can provide solid references. I've also had a lot of last minute bookings so I'm very comfortable just jumping in with families I'm meeting for the first time! Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you and wish you all the best in finding that perfect nanny or babysitter to suit your family.
