Hello! I'm Monica - a bubbly and playful 28 year old creative with a big kid heart and a genuine passion for caring for children. At family events you'll find me in the backyard making up games to play with the young kids whilst the adults chat. I have over 5 years experience of child and house care. This includes almost 2 years of full time child care during the pandemic where I cared for 2 children (3 & 5) whilst homeschooling the 5 year old, creating a variety of enriching and fulfilling activities to maintain a positive moral and well-being for the kids. I have experience in caring for a 5 year old girl with ASD and a 4 year old boy with ADHD. I'm very house proud, and enjoy making spaces feel tidy, clean and organised. I'm also very confident in my cooking abilities and have cooked for a variety of dietary needs. I have had many years experience in caring for dogs, cats and other pets. Can provide a phone call reference. Would love to chat more and meet in person! :)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi lovely parents! My name is Téa and I am looking for work, either part time or casual. My time with a family I worked with for 1 1/2 years is slowing down drastically in the new year as their baby boy will be attending childcare. Ideally, any parents reaching out need someone to babysit/child mind on a regular basis or to help in regards to an upcoming event. Background: I am in my third year of uni, studying a bachelor of arts at the University of Melbourne. I major in psychology, and hope to one day work as an animal assisted therapist for children. Availability: I am available to work most days and most times as shown in the chart. However my availability does fluctuate (I will happily convey any changes with you) as I work as a chess coach in schools and work with 3 lovely families. One that requires casual babysitting once every month or so after hours. A second that requires weekly help on Tuesdays from 3pm till 6:30pm. And the third required before school help from Monday through to Friday from 7:30am till 11am but will soon only require casual help for event nights. Rate: My rate is $40 per hour, but I charge an extra $10 per hour (ie. $50 per hour) if you are wanting me to stay past midnight or work on a public holiday. Services: 1. Babysitting/child minding 2. Pet sitting/walking 3. Cooking/meal prep 4. Light cleaning 5. Basic homework help 6. Fun! Experience and Qualifications: As I’ve mentioned, I am currently working with three families. One where I look after two young boys aged 10 and 13, another where I look after a 7 yearold girl and 14 month old baby boy, and the third family has two boys aged 4 and 6. However, my experience working with children is much more vast. One of my hobbies growing up was playing chess, and I have fortunately been able to make a job out of it by tutoring primary and secondary school students. I have worked solo with classes of 3 to 20+ students at a time, and in team settings with 400 kids under my care. This means that I have gained a deep understanding as how to work with children who have learning difficulties and behavioural challenges. My work also requires me to have an employee wwcc and first aid certificate in an education and care setting. Upon request I am happy to share these with you. I have my license and can take kids to and from school/sport or any other activities. If I had your permission, I would love to take them to the zoo, park, bowling, etc to keep them entertained and happy. I completely understand if you would prefer to meet me before agreeing to any work and am happy to do so. I can’t wait to hear from you :)

Looking for: Part-time

Hi, I'm Lil, I'm an experienced nanny/babysitter looking for more part time work as the kids of my current families are starting to grow up! I have nine years experience working as a babysitter/nanny, and three years experience working as a housecleaner, as well as having done kitchen work, so I'm well equipped to care for your children and house. I absolutely love working with kids and take so much joy in getting to know them and forming genuine relationships with the kids and parents of the families I work for. I have experience with ages newborn to twelve years, and with AuDHD kids (and through my degree in neuropsychology I'm educated on neurodiversity and best care) While of course following what the parents of the families want, my personal inclination is to encourage supervised independence and screen free time. Art is a big hobby of mine so I love to bring things like modelling clay or oil pastels to work for us to do together, and I love reading and am always up for reading together or independently with kids, as well as trips out of the house to the park, library, pool, etc. The more sporty kids I've worked with have even taught me to kick a footy! Overall, I'm a patient, playful, and responsible nanny who will genuinely care about your children and family.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello there! A little about me: I’m a compassionate, friendly, and caring person who is responsible and patient. I have a high spirit and a passion for life, remaining optimistic at all times. I am determined and confident in my abilities. Helping children grow in a healthy, happy, and safe environment is very important to me and comes naturally. I believe in educating children about right and wrong, as well as instilling great manners, which I encourage strongly. I have worked for many families in Australia and overseas, and I have also raised my own four children, including a set of twins, who are now wonderful young adults—educated, intelligent, and well-respected individuals (though I may be biased!). Throughout my many years of experience, I have cared for over a dozen families and have also worked with children who are hard of hearing, autistic, or battling leukemia. In addition to childcare, I do light housekeeping, including cooking and baking, which I truly enjoy, although it depends on the time available. I’m happy to assist with all ages of children; they are all lovely and unique in their own ways, and each presents its own delightful challenges. My previous occupations, aside from being a nanny, include laboratory assistant, fitness instructor, hospitality worker, caterer, receptionist, retail manager, administration officer, and integration aide. Although I am 58 years old, I am full of energy, fit, and healthy, and I embrace a healthy lifestyle, which keeps my outlook on life youthful! I have excellent references from previous and current employers who can verify my experience and work ethic as a nanny and educator. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss your family's needs. I look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks, Maria 😊

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, my name is Olivia 😊 I have over 5 years of nannying experience, working across a mix of key long-term roles as well as short-term and casual positions, including covering for other nannies when families needed temporary support. I’ve cared for children ranging from 5 months old through to primary school age, and I genuinely enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families. Much of my experience has been in long-hour, routine-based roles (typically 8am–5/6pm), particularly with children under five. One of my longest roles involved caring for a little boy full-time for over a year, from infancy until he turned two. I really valued the consistency of this role and developed a close, nurturing bond with him. I’m very comfortable with school drop-offs and pick-ups, preparing meals, planning age-appropriate activities, and taking children to sports, classes, and outings. I enjoy keeping children engaged with a balance of structured activities, outdoor play, and free play, and I always prioritise their safety, emotional wellbeing, and routines. Alongside nannying, I’ve also worked as a children’s swimming teacher, teaching both group and private lessons to children of various ages. This experience has strengthened my focus on safety, patience, and confidence-building, and I enjoy incorporating my swim knowledge where appropriate. Before becoming a professional nanny, I completed several years of casual babysitting for local families, which is where my passion for working with children began. I’ve worked both independently and through agencies, am fully vetted, and have strong parent references available. I’m the second eldest of four girls, which has made me very family-oriented. Growing up in a busy household helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and a nurturing nature. I previously studied a Bachelor of Science at Monash University and am currently taking a break from university. I’m a caring, energetic, friendly, and reliable person who genuinely loves being around children. I enjoy planning activities, outdoor play, reading, and helping children grow into their own unique personalities. I’m also happy to assist with light household duties, including cleaning, meal preparation, bathing, and running errands. A bit about me: I love playing sport (netball and football), spending time in nature, cooking, listening to music, staying active, and trying new things. I’m more than happy to provide additional information and parent references. I hold a current First Aid certificate, a Working With Children Check, and a full driver’s licence with my own car.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi Families, I am a passionate care-giver looking to do some part time nannying/casual baby sitting! Growing up in a large family ignited my love for working with children, and prompted my employment at a Reggia Emilio style childcare facility. I now have extensive experience working with children from ages 6 months - 12 years old as well as a broad knowledge of childcare pedagogies. The specific values of play and creativity in order to explore independence is now instinctive to my care for children. I have worked as a part time nanny for a 1 year old and 3 year old, as well as having extensive experience in general baby sitting within my community. I consider myself a warm, fun, loving and creative carer, who genuinely enjoys being around children. Whilst I love to have fun, I am cautious of the safety expectations when caring for young children and will always make this my priority. I am competent in changing nappies, calming children etc and whilst I don't hold a drivers license I do know how to put on a good monster voice for a bedtime story!

Continuing my sisters legacy as the neighborhood babysitter, I have experience working with kids aged 4 -13 for over 10 years and have learned how to thrive during the everyday chaos. Every day I strive to create a fun and safe learning environment while managing daily schedules, running activities, providing tutoring, and attending to each child’s unique needs. Beyond babysitting I have some unique experiences working at a summer camp leadings kids in outdoor activities (hiking, field games, creek time, canoeing, gardening), indoor activities (crafts, theatre, logic puzzles, dance battles), cleaning the cabin, meal time, and preparing clothes for the next day's activities Beyond this, I have also volunteered with my local after school program doing math and english tutoring for children falling behind in school. Here I learned how to tailor lessons to each kid’s learning styles and help them build confidence they often lost from class. Lastly, over the past 8 years, I have taught guitar to both beginners and more experienced players over every age range. Personally, music lessons were a huge part of my growth as a young teen and provided me with both a creative outlet and many of my favorite life experiences playing on stage With my teaching, I focus on creating engaging lesson plans to keep kids excited and building up a musical foundation that they will have forever. Teaching guitar is one of my favorite things in the world to do and I’d be happy to conduct lessons additionally if wanted !!!
