Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Gemma Brennan and I'd love to be your new babysitter. I am originally from country Victoria and have 3 younger siblings, currently aged 17, 15 and 9 so I have lots of experience looking after my siblings growing up. I am a fun, bright and responsible young woman who enjoys playing netball, spending time with family and friends and keeping active. I am also studying a Bachelor of Education at Latrobe University, therefore I am well experienced with children and ways to manage behaviour whilst still having a great time. In my home town I would frequently babysit my cousins and other families within my community. I love being active with children; going on walks, playing games and having fun.

I am a 20-year-old currently studying Social Work at RMIT, with plans to further my studies in Primary Education. I have a genuine love for working with children of all ages and bring a calm, sensible, and nurturing energy to my care—while still knowing how to have plenty of fun! I have experience with casual babysitting, have worked at camps supporting boys aged 10–25, and have facilitated children’s programs in a previous role at an allied health clinic. I’m confident, patient, and able to manage a variety of needs and personalities. I’m also very comfortable with routines like playtime, bath and bedtime, and light household tasks. I live independently, so I’m responsible, mature for my age, and well-organised. I’m also a big animal lover—so happy to help in a household with pets! I’d love the opportunity to support your family and provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for your children. My hourly rate is negotiable depending on the role and needs.

With hands-on experience as a Lead Educator and a background in early childhood and primary education, I am committed to creating learning environments where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore. I completed my Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education in October 2024 and am currently studying towards a Master of Teaching (Primary) at Holmes Institute, expected to finish in October 2025. My academic journey, combined with earlier studies in Human Resource Management and Commerce, has helped me develop a thoughtful and organized approach to both teaching and leadership. In my current role at Journey Early Learning in Alphington, I plan and deliver developmentally appropriate programs aligned with EYLF, VEYLDF, and NQF frameworks. I document learning experiences, guide reflective practice during team meetings, and support transitions for new children and families. I also work closely with assistant educators, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative team environment. Alongside my education experience, I’ve worked in administration and admissions roles where I developed strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali, and confident using platforms such as Storypark, Trello, Oracle, and Microsoft Office. I hold a valid Working with Children Check, Police Check, and current certifications in First Aid, CPR, Mandatory Reporting, and Food Safety. I value respectful relationships, meaningful engagement with families, and a calm, child-centred approach to learning. Hello parents! I'm Kelly, a 39-year-old who's got a blend of wisdom and childlike wonder, available for casual babysitting. I am a regular ad hoc babysitter for multiple families across Fitzroy, Thornbury, Preston, and Brunswick East, Kew, with kids aged 1 to 11 years old. I am also a regular babysitter for my 4yo niece, who never fails to fill my heart with happiness as she explores the world. Babysitting is a joy, filled with crafts, playgrounds, Disney movies, baking sessions, bike rides, science experiments, and story time. I enjoy cooking and often prepare nourishing meals for the kids. Although my main focus is on giving the kids my full care and attention, I might have time to whip up a meal for parents as well. Warmth, authenticity, and nurturing are my go-tos. I'm all about fostering creativity and curiosity, making every moment a blend of fun and learning. Kids have this incredible knack for reminding us of life's simple joys! I am available days, evenings, and weekends. I am excited about the opportunity to connect with you and your children. Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello there! A little about me: I’m a compassionate, friendly, and caring person who is responsible and patient. I have a high spirit and a passion for life, remaining optimistic at all times. I am determined and confident in my abilities. Helping children grow in a healthy, happy, and safe environment is very important to me and comes naturally. I believe in educating children about right and wrong, as well as instilling great manners, which I encourage strongly. I have worked for many families in Australia and overseas, and I have also raised my own four children, including a set of twins, who are now wonderful young adults—educated, intelligent, and well-respected individuals (though I may be biased!). Throughout my many years of experience, I have cared for over a dozen families and have also worked with children who are hard of hearing, autistic, or battling leukemia. In addition to childcare, I do light housekeeping, including cooking and baking, which I truly enjoy, although it depends on the time available. I’m happy to assist with all ages of children; they are all lovely and unique in their own ways, and each presents its own delightful challenges. My previous occupations, aside from being a nanny, include laboratory assistant, fitness instructor, hospitality worker, caterer, receptionist, retail manager, administration officer, and integration aide. Although I am 58 years old, I am full of energy, fit, and healthy, and I embrace a healthy lifestyle, which keeps my outlook on life youthful! I have excellent references from previous and current employers who can verify my experience and work ethic as a nanny and educator. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss your family's needs. I look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks, Maria 😊

Hey! My name is Nina, and I’m a bubbly, friendly first-year university student with over five years of babysitting experience. As the oldest of five siblings, much younger than me I naturally stepped into a caretaker role early on, which sparked my passion for working with children. I began babysitting for other families at 15, and since then, I’ve cared for kids of all ages, personalities, and needs. Whether it’s helping with homework, organising creative games, or simply being a supportive presence, I strive to create a positive and engaging environment for every child in my care. I am certified in first aid, which gives me- and the families I work with peace of mind knowing that safety is always a top priority. I believe that imaginative play is essential for children’s development, so I love bringing creativity into our time together, from arts and crafts to make-believe adventures. understand the trust families place in their nannies, and I am committed to providing reliable, nurturing, and attentive care.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Olivia :) I have been travelling Europe for the past 7 months and got back on the 12th of February and I am now seeking some more employment involving working with children. I have over 4 years of nanny experience. Doing gigs ranging from short to long term help and casual covers Previously to my travels I looked after a gorgeous boy for a year who turned 2 while I was looking after him. I really enjoyed this and had a lovely bond but unfortunately his family moved to Perth. The hours were 8-6pm and I am looking for something similar. Prior to that I nannied casually for a 2 and a half year old boy who I took to the pools often due to my experience with swim teaching (this job was for a few months). Another family of two girls; a 6 month year old and 4 year old who needed my help for 3 months while their old helper was away. A german family who I’ve a good relationship with and nannied for them on two different occasions (a few months stint each time) who stay in Melbourne for a bit to visit family. (They were 6 months and 2 years old the first time and 2 and a half and 4 the following) Before some travels I did in 2022, I looked after a young girl around one years old for 6 months which was also long houred days of 8-5pm. Those two gigs were under an angency called The Reinforcement nannying agency. Which no longer runs. I have been a children's swimming teacher for Elite Swimming where I dealt with a wide range of ages typically (2-13 years old) in group and private situations. Prior to starting nannying 4 years ago i did casual baby sitting for 6+ years for local families where I first gained experience with kids varying ages. I am the second oldest out of four girls and therefore I am very family orientated and have grown up in a household surrounded by other kids which has taught me a lot of valuable skills such as communication and patience. I am currently taking a break from uni, however i was studying a bachelor of science at Monash. I am a very caring, energetic, friendly person who is a reliable, confident, and flexible worker. I believe I have a nurturing nature and genuinely love being around and caring for kids. I love planning activities, playing outside, reading etc. I love being able to watch a child I look after flourish and development into their own unique character. I also am more than happy to help out with cleaning up around the house, preparing meals, bathing etc. A bit about me: I love playing sports (netball and football), being in nature, cooking, listening to music, leading an active lifestyle as well as partaking in spontaneous activities with my friends and always trying and learning new things! I am more than happy to give anymore information required by potential employers and provide parent references. I recently refreshed my first aid, I have a car and have a WWCC. Rates wise: When looking after two children I have typically recieved an additional $5 per hour.

I am a nursing student who is affectionate, caring and empathetic. As I was the eldest daughter of my joint family, taking care of others comes naturally to come. I grew up taking care of younger siblings, so working around children makes me feel like home. Working as a nanny made me organised, a great planner and communicator. When I was in school, loved to participate in art and recreation activities and have studied children's health as one my electives in nursing. My mother was a teacher, teaching and learning was something I got from her and really enthusiastic about it as well.
