Hi - I am a person who believes that reliability, professionalism and quality care when looking after children. I am an active, non smoker with own car. I have extensive experience with children aged between 0-14 and have been teaching children for nearly 30 years. I have also had some experience with children with special needs through my LDC experience and one of my nanny positions. I am currently available on Tuesday and Thursday (any hours) and Monday/Wednesday up until 2pm. I have recently retired from teaching kindergarten after 15 years teaching 3 yr old kinder and many years before in LDC. I am looking for casual nanny hours with a family for hopefully a long time or as needed. I have had several long term (years) with families and also some smaller contracts with others, all wonderful to work with and care for their child/children. I am a practising martial artist (karate) which keeps me fit and active and enjoy getting out and doing things with children. I have recently taken on full time teaching of my karate school afternoons/night time however, seeking additional work to keep qualifications active in Early Childhood if the right position comes up as I miss working with families and children 1-1. My renumeration is $38-40/hr. If you are looking for a part time nanny for a maximum of 2 children and feel we could be compatible please call! I hope to hear from someone in need - Rebecca

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name's Harper, and I'm a graduate of Ruyton Girls' School. I have 5 years of childcare experience and am a kind, patient person who adores caring for children. I currently babysit a toddler and an infant (from 2 separate families) on an ad-hoc basis while I'm in uni studying to become a family law barrister. Most notably, I was a full-time nanny to the children of a high profile/VIP family of actors while they were in Australia filming a project, and I offer my services through Blossom Nanny Agency. I have 5 years' experience looking after children aged newborn to 13 years old, as well as having done work experience in early childhood education and volunteered with my school's afterschool drama club and my equestrian school. I was taught CPR and first aid at school, and have 2 years of self-defence (karate) under my belt (pun intended!) I'm also a very creative person so I have lots of fun, screen-free activities to keep kids entertained, and love going for walks and enjoying the outdoors.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a single mother of a sixteen year old boy, myself. My alternate stream/(s) of income predominantly involve the instruction and assessment of swimming and water safety skills; first aid; resuscitation/CPR; lifesaving skills; advanced aquatic rescue techniques; and, self-defence. With the majority of those students, being children aged between six months and sixteen years of age. I additionally, also facilitate and run, professional development training courses alongside some Lifeguarding roles. Other relevant previous roles I've held, include being a Voluntary Children's Football/Soccer Coach; Volunteer Lifesaving Patroller, Training and Development Director and Mentor for Nippers and Teens for a Life Saving Club; a Children's Party Host; and have occasionally held science "fun lab" and Martial Arts demonstrations for school students at varying levels and certain community events. I am experienced and comfortable working with, and around children of all ages. Many of which, having had different cultural/religious/ethnical/economical/educational backgrounds, lifestyles and abilities. My experience also includes the successful provision of education/instruction, supervision and guidance of children with physical/medical/intellectual/psychosocial disabilities, learning difficulties, mental illness and those on different levels of the autism spectrum, and even overcoming (to a degree) language barriers over the years spent in the above roles striving to assist every child and their parents being able to set and focus on continuously working towards attaining their own, realistically achievable, short/long-term goals over time. I feel that it is important for children to experience the joy and sense of accomplishment, having actively put in the effort required to achieve each of these goals. I believe it is not only beneficial to the child physically/psychologically/mentally, but have also found it can provide their parents/caregivers with a little bit of comfort and more peace of mind, knowing that with every goal achieved - and the effort applied in doing so, carries with it, an expansion of their child's future potential, and opportunities that await them in years to come.

I have extensive experience and knowledge with children of all age groups. I am comfortable and confident with multiple children and meal prep, cleaning and basic household tasks. I have assisted both youth and adults with physical disabilities also. I have experience with neurodivergent children and have studied education support. I am currently studying my diploma of community services through Swinburne, I plan to work for places like Berry Street or other children’s foundations and companies. I have nannied for multiple families across Melbourne and have always created a great experience. I have had other jobs but I always come back to this - I love being able to support and care for children in a more direct and personal manner and in home nanny-ing has always fulfilled that for me. I find this job genuinely rewarding. My biggest achievements in nannying have been creating sleep schedules, helping with attachment issues and bonding with a young child with ASD who had previously struggled with bonding with carers.

Hello! I'm Lily and let me introduce myself. I have worked since the age of 17 as either a babysitter/family personal assistant or in the retail profession where I had many roles to perform. I found the love for babysitting and running of a household since the birth of my two nephews which I helped with and that is when this all started. I have worked with multiple families with children of all ages ranging from newborns to secondary school. I would help with school drop off/ pick up, fun activities/ outings, homework, food prep, laundry, cleaning to the extent of running errands for mum and dad where the help was needed. That's a brief summary but if I sound like I can be a great fit with your family, I would love the opportunity to meet.
