Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I’m Lydia! I’m a university student who enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking and baking, gardening, and playing card games and board games with friends and family. I’m a tidy and organised person, and I’m more than happy to help out with household tasks, I really value a clean and welcoming environment. I have experience babysitting a young girl under the age of two, and I absolutely loved spending time with her, especially playing, reading stories, and helping with daily routines. I’m responsible, caring, and genuinely enjoy being around children. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and make your child feel safe, happy, and engaged.

I am a mother of twin 32 young women, I raised them by myself. They have spread their wings and are no longer living with me. I very much miss being an "active mum", 30yos like to make their own way in the world. I very much enjoy spending time with young people and watching them grow.I am more than happy to support the parents with the way they discipline & set routines.I think open and honest communication is the only way to go. I have worked with many families & loads of children of all different ages & needs. One particular family i have worked with for 8yrs. Starting when he was just 11months. I treat each child as individuals & love to play & support where they are on their adventure. Keeping light & breezy but still have strong boundaries. I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding, this has also carried over to my care of children. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working. I dont mind doing light housework, picking up after or with the young person. And packing/unpacking the dishwaser, as long as it doesnt cut into time with the child. Thank you for reading, Jane

I am a qualified Early Childhood Educator (55+). Parents appreciate my loyal and total commitment to quality care for their children, which is supported by their positive references. Indoors, I enjoy singing and reading to the children and supporting them in creative activities. I also enjoy taking the children outdoors to explore the elements of nature. I believe that spending time in playgrounds and parks where children can gain social skills and test their physical abilities is an important part of their physical, emotional and cognitive development. As part of my qualification, I worked in a professional childcare setting where I gained valuable experience working with families from different cultural backgrounds. Among other qualifications, I hold a Certificate III in Early Childcare Education and Care. I have the Blue Card and a full driver licence. I am a warm and caring person and maintain a healthy balance between work and leisure. Therefore, I can ideally accommodate childcare 2 x per week for 3-4 hours during the day.
