Looking for: Part-time, Casual Babysitting
My name is Tennille, and I am currently studying Law at Griffith University. I have a genuine passion for working with children and am dedicated to providing care that is rooted in kindness, compassion, patience, and support. I am motivated to create a safe, nurturing environment for every child in my care. I find great joy in spending time with children and always strive to bring my utmost effort and attention to their wellbeing. As well as a strong desire to minimise children screen time as much as possible, instead filling that time with arts & crafts, dancing, and outside activities!
I have 2 years under my belt of being are carer at a summer camp, working with little ones aged 2-7, so I know how important it is to keep them busy and happy :)
During this period (6–8-hour shifts) some of my responsibilities were:
- Prepare and feed children meals
- Organise and supervise activities (such as crafts, movies, park play, and swimming)
- Bathe and Change children before/after swimming
- Set the children up for naps
- Taking children to and from the bathroom (as well as occasionally changing a child after an accident)
I also casually babysit children day and/or night
This care included:
- Helping children with homework
- Feeding them dinner
- Changing nappies
- Bathing and changing them before bed
- Putting them to sleep for the night
- Light chores around the house
ALSO: I just completed my Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and FirstAid training, feel free to ask to see my qualifications.
