Looking for: Part-time

Qualified Sleep Consultant, night nanny and 24hr live in baby nanny (Maternity Practitioner). Hi families, I’m Jennifer. I’ve been working with babies, children, and their families for over 24 years, and I still feel just as passionate about it today as I did when I started. Early in my career, I worked as a live-in nanny for families all over the world - sometimes caring for up to five children in one household, from newborns through to teenagers (managing the whole household + all of the children's activities and needs). It was during this time that I discovered my love for working with newborns, then went on to study more about newborn care and sleep consulting. In 2006, I became a fully accredited Maternity Practitioner through the Maternity Nurse Training College at Reading University in the UK. I'm also a qualified Sleep Consultant and Doula. For more than two decades, I have specialised in postnatal care, night nannying, and sleep training for babies aged 0 - 5 years. I’ve had the privilege of living in with thousands of families across more than 60 countries, often supporting them 24/7 during those precious early months. I’ve guided parents through everything from feeding and settling to establishing healthy routines - and in the process, I’ve developed a gentle, hands-on approach that helps even very young babies learn to sleep soundly (often up to 10 hours a night with feeds). This depth of experience has also allowed me to create my own style of sleep training for older babies. My methods are baby-led and flexible - I don’t follow rigid wake windows or strict routines. Instead, I work closely with each family to create a plan that suits their baby’s needs and their parenting style. My programs have supported thousands of families both online and in person, and I currently consult with up to 10 families per week while also continuing to work as a nanny and in-home sleep consultant. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for hundreds of single babies, more than 50 sets of twins, and two sets of triplets. I’ve clocked well over 70,000 hours living in with families, and every experience has taught me something new. Outside of work, I enjoy living a healthy, balanced lifestyle - I love travelling, staying active at the gym, and cooking. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a meaningful career that allows me to support families during what can often be a stressful time - and help make it feel a little easier. Education and Formal Training: • Maternity and Child Certification - International Maternity Institute of America • MNT OCN Maternity Practitioners’ Award – Reading University, London • Doula and Birthing Education – The Australian Doula College Sydney. • Understanding settling techniques and sleep in babies and toddlers – Southern Cross University, Gold Coast • Children’s Sleep Training – MNT Reading University, London • Post Natal Depression Training – MNT Reading University, London • Breastfeeding Workshop – MNT Reading University, London • Baby care for nannies – MNT Reading University, London • Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course – MNT Reading University, London • PaediatricFirst Aid Training – Australia • Sleep Guidance Program – Night Nannies • Dunstan Baby Language Course – Night Nannies Skills: • Educate and assist parents with their birthing plans • Assist with breastfeeding and postpartum newborn care • Implement age-appropriate feeding and sleeping routines • Monitor the emotional status of mother once discharged from hospital • Educate parents regarding their options in sleep shaping for older babies and implementation of a sleeping program • Educate the father and older siblings in aspects of newborn care to support the mother • Convey numerous methods for postpartum care relating to feeding, hygiene, clothing, newborn’s environment.

Heyy my names Tom Lancaster! I’m from the UK, on a working holiday Visa and planning to stay indefinitely. Im a 23 year old male, who loves working with kids it’s my passion. I’ve been an activity instructor/group leader for just under 2 years now in the UK and Australia. Looking after up to 24 kids by myself and have enjoyed it so much! I love the way they look up to you and you literally see them gain so much confidence during the time I’m with them it’s amazing. I’m a very fun, enthusiastic, caring guy with a passion for embracing my inner child whilst looking after kids :). I find gaining there respect very easy as I treat them as a friend rather than a child, this makes it a lot easier when explaining rules they need to follow during activities and how they should behave. I’m looking to gain new skills as I’m looking at the possibility of teaching in the future and would love the opportunity to work with your family. :)) I have had three babysitting job so far so I can provide references. 1. A Jewish family with two kids ages boy aged 7 and girl aged 5 who had a background with domestic violence due to the mother abusing them and making them regress, for example making them wear diapers still. 2. A family with a 10 year old boy who has ADHD/Autism/PDA. This includes dealing with a lot of physical tantrums and panic attacks. 3. A Indian family with a 5 year old boy and 5 month year old baby.

Hi! I'm Rocío, but everyone calls me Ro. I'm 29 years old and someone who truly enjoys embracing new experiences. Travelling has been a big part of my journey—it has allowed me to connect with different cultures, meet people from all walks of life, and grow personally through new and sometimes challenging situations. I love building genuine connections and always try to give back the kindness and learning I receive from others. I'm naturally organized, detail-oriented, and always strive to give my best in everything I do. I believe punctuality and respect are key values that help build trust—both of which were instilled in me from a young age by my family. Even though I'm the youngest in my family, I’ve always been surrounded by younger cousins and naturally took on a caring, protective role. I’ve also had the wonderful experience of working as a field hockey coach in Miami, Florida, where I was responsible for coaching and caring for girls aged 4 to 9. It was a role that strengthened my nurturing side and confirmed how much I enjoy supporting children's development in a fun and safe environment. Hello Parents! I grew up in a tight-knit community, consisting of supportive families and their children. There were limited kids my age, so you would always find me chatting away with the adults or being chased after by my younger siblings and their friends in a game of tip! As I began to take on more responsibilities, I provided babysitting and cleaning services for these parents. This, in addition to growing up in a neurodiverse family (including myself) and later caring for my younger brother who has ASD, means I am responsible, understanding and patient. I love cooking delicious and healthy meals, keeping my space tidy and going on adventures! My hobbies include pottery, hiking, drawing, and reading (to name a few). Additional Info: I am in the process of getting a WWCC and have completed a successful Police Check. I have an NZ-restricted manual license and am first-aid certified.
