My name is Angeline, I'm 33 years old, originally chinese. I was born in France and grew up there, so wouldn’t mind speaking French to your kids. I babysit since I’m 15 years old, when I was 20 years I went to the US to be an au pair 2013 to 2015 and 2017 to 2019 for 4 years in total, one year with a family a baby of 11 months old and then a second family, when I started they had only two kids 11 months old and 3 years old when I left them the mom was pregnant 🥰 and when I came back the second time they were 2, 4 and 6 years old (one year with a family and 3 years with the same family) in France 2022 I was taking care of two girls for two years (4 and 6 years old) and in Australia 2025 for a year I took care of 3 children (Twins girls 2 and a boy 4 years old) and occasionally a baby of 7months old. For Oceans some examples are visiting the Australian Maritime Museum/attend thier preschool group called mini mariners where they learn about different topics while touring around the museum and then engage with books, craft, dress up, sensory items etc to further explore what they learnt on the museum walk. Koi fish feeding at The Chinese Gardens at 11am daily. Creating jelly fish hats with clear shower caps and streamers, bubble wrap painting and pasting sand to create a beach scene, shell painting, paper plate fish. Going to the local library and finding ocean books to borrow. Learning ocean songs I've downloaded to my phone (here is the sea, little shell, all the fish are swimming in the water, 3 jelly fish). Ocean felt board stories. Looking at YouTube clips of different sea animals. Magnetic fishing game, ideal for fine motor skill development (this game is found at most toy libraries). When the child starts to lose interest or when a new topic emerges, we begin focusing on the new theme.
