Once they began school, I updated my nursing qualifications (CV included )I have managed wards specialising in medical and surgical care of elderly, adult and paediatrics .I was a paediatric and adult life support provider and teacher and also an IV infusion nurse. I am incredibly organised and very much a team player. I have excellent communication skills, remain calm under pressure , I am enthusiastic, empathetic and have a great sense of humour. I am now looking for some part time work and love the idea of being part of a family unit once again .I have always surrounded myself with children and felt extremely privileged to be able to nurse them back to health after surgery. I am a great believer in learning through the art of play and activity .I love books , cooking , pilates and spending time with my dogs and understand the value of personal and life experience. I would initially want to work ten to fifteen hours a week as I am also nanny to an eighteen month old little boy and caring for my mother in law who is suffering from vascular dementia. I initially worked for six months within the community caring and supporting vulnerable adults. I have the correct Visa to work, my TN, a full police check , up to date first aid certificate ,WWC check , an Australian drivers licence and my own car.
