Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi I’m Natalie! I have a great passion for kids and genuinely enjoy babysitting. I’m currently studying a bachelor of communications (media business and strategic communication) at UTS. Over the years, I’ve held four long-term nanny roles requiring a high level of care, organisation, and adaptability. Most recently, I’ve been working as a nanny and family assistant for an 11-year-old boy, providing before and after school care as well as managing a variety of household tasks including errands, meal prep, laundry, grocery shopping, and pet care. I haven’t taken a single day off in this current role, which I began in January, and my reliability is something I’m proud of. My earlier experience includes caring for younger children as well, including a 4-year-old boy in a private home where I engaged him educational tasks and activities, and a different role providing after-school care for two girls aged 3 and 6, also taking them to after school activities and doing meal prep for the family. Another role I’ve done is overnight care for a 7 year old boy, as well as full school holiday care for a 6 year old girl. I’ve always prioritised emotional safety, and creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel supported and parents feel at ease. I also have experience looking after newborns and under 2’s at my church’s nursery. I’m a caring, responsible, and extremely reliable person with excellent communication skills. I’ve maintained strong and close relationships with every family I’ve worked with, and I bring not only experience but a genuine love for what I do. I hold a current Working With Children Check, First Aid Certificate, and Driver’s Licence, and I have my own car. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or if you’d like to have a chat! 😊

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi families, My name is Annielle, I am a mature, warm, caring, friendly, responsible, proactive and calm carer. I have many years of experience with good communication skills and a natural connection with children of all ages. My professional nannying experience spans well over 20 years. In the past I have worked as a before-school carer, after-school carer, as a daytime nanny as well as a weekend babysitter. I have always enjoyed my role as a nurturing carer and have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with some incredibly kind and generous families with amazing kids, for which I am very grateful. In the past I have spent many afternoons supervising homework, school projects, play dates, been on endless outings to local parks, watched many after-school sport training sessions, music lessons, enjoyed assisting with crafty creations and make believe role playing, all while having lots of fun and laughter. I have spent many hours playing in sandpits, doing craft and reading stories to toddlers and just cuddling. I have enjoyed raising my son and daughter who are now independent young adults. I enjoy teaching and guiding development in children. I am fluent in English, French and Italian and I do enjoy incorporating this asset into my work if appropriate. Living in the Abbotsford suburb for over three decades, I know the Inner West area very well. I am an experienced driver with my own reliable car and a current license. I am comfortable driving in the Sydney CBD streets and surrounding areas. Before my current position I worked with a wonderful family caring for their gorgeous baby girl from when she was 9 months old. After turning two she started full time daycare and my services were no longer needed. But we still often catch up for fun and I still babysit their three children occasionally. Before that I worked with another lovely family as an after-school carer with their awesome two boys. I was with them for over 5 years and have remained in touch with them. Currently I am working with a great family caring for their sweet baby girl. She recently turned one and will be going to full time daycare as of Jan 2024. Hence the reason for my search for a new awesome family to work with in 2024. I am fully vaccinated. As a committed, fun, flexible, passionate and reliable carer, I look forward to hearing of any possible job opportunities. Kindly yours Annielle

Throughout my professional career, I have had the opportunity to work in Early Childhood and Primary centers with children from 3 to 12 years old, as well as in daycare centers with children from 0 to 5 years old. Qualified Sleep Consultant, night nanny and 24hr live in baby nanny (Maternity Practitioner). Hi families, I’m Jennifer. I’ve been working with babies, children, and their families for over 25 years, and I still feel just as passionate about it today as I did when I started. Early in my career, I worked as a live-in nanny for families all over the world - sometimes caring for up to five children in one household, from newborns through to teenagers (managing the whole household + all of the children's activities and needs). It was during this time that I discovered my love for working with newborns, then went on to study more about newborn care and sleep consulting. In 2006, I became a fully accredited Maternity Practitioner through the Maternity Nurse Training College at Reading University in the UK. I'm also a qualified Sleep Consultant and Doula. For more than two decades, I have specialised in postnatal care, night nannying, and sleep training for babies aged 0 - 5 years. I’ve had the privilege of living in with thousands of families across more than 60 countries, often supporting them 24/7 during those precious early months. I’ve guided parents through everything from feeding and settling to establishing healthy routines - and in the process, I’ve developed a gentle, hands-on approach that helps even very young babies learn to sleep soundly (often up to 10 hours a night with feeds). This depth of experience has also allowed me to create my own style of sleep training for older babies. My methods are baby-led and flexible - I don’t follow rigid wake windows or strict routines. Instead, I work closely with each family to create a plan that suits their baby’s needs and their parenting style. My programs have supported thousands of families both online and in person, and I currently consult with up to 10 families per week while also continuing to work as a nanny and in-home sleep consultant. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for hundreds of single babies, more than 50 sets of twins, and two sets of triplets. I’ve clocked well over 70,000 hours living in with families, and every experience has taught me something new. Outside of work, I enjoy living a healthy, balanced lifestyle - I love travelling, staying active at the gym, and cooking. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a meaningful career that allows me to support families during what can often be a stressful time - and help make it feel a little easier. Education and Formal Training: • Maternity and Child Certification - International Maternity Institute of America • MNT OCN Maternity Practitioners’ Award – Reading University, London • Doula and Birthing Education – The Australian Doula College Sydney. • Understanding settling techniques and sleep in babies and toddlers – Southern Cross University, Gold Coast • Children’s Sleep Training – MNT Reading University, London • Post Natal Depression Training – MNT Reading University, London • Breastfeeding Workshop – MNT Reading University, London • Baby care for nannies – MNT Reading University, London • Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course – MNT Reading University, London • PaediatricFirst Aid Training – Australia • Sleep Guidance Program – Night Nannies • Dunstan Baby Language Course – Night Nannies Skills: • Educate and assist parents with their birthing plans • Assist with breastfeeding and postpartum newborn care • Implement age-appropriate feeding and sleeping routines • Monitor the emotional status of mother once discharged from hospital • Educate parents regarding their options in sleep shaping for older babies and implementation of a sleeping program • Educate the father and older siblings in aspects of newborn care to support the mother • Convey numerous methods for postpartum care relating to feeding, hygiene, clothing, newborn’s environment. 6am - 6pm: Day rate starts from $60 per hour. 6pm - 6am: Night rate: $80 per hour Full day rate (20 hours): $1500 per day (min 1 week booking - to 6 months).
