Meet Natalie: A nanny and babysitter in Balmain, NSW

Hi I’m Natalie! I have a great passion for kids and genuinely enjoy babysitting. I’m currently studying a bachelor of communications (media business and strategic communication) at UTS.

Over the years, I’ve held four long-term nanny roles requiring a high level of care, organisation, and adaptability. Most recently, I’ve been working as a nanny and family assistant for an 11-year-old boy, providing before and after school care as well as managing a variety of household tasks including errands, meal prep, laundry, grocery shopping, and pet care. I haven’t taken a single day off in this current role, which I began in January, and my reliability is something I’m proud of.

My earlier experience includes caring for younger children as well, including a 4-year-old boy in a private home where I engaged him educational tasks and activities, and a different role providing after-school care for two girls aged 3 and 6, also taking them to after school activities and doing meal prep for the family. Another role I’ve done is overnight care for a 7 year old boy, as well as full school holiday care for a 6 year old girl. I’ve always prioritised emotional safety, and creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel supported and parents feel at ease. I also have experience looking after newborns and under 2’s at my church’s nursery.

I’m a caring, responsible, and extremely reliable person with excellent communication skills. I’ve maintained strong and close relationships with every family I’ve worked with, and I bring not only experience but a genuine love for what I do.

I hold a current Working With Children Check, First Aid Certificate, and Driver’s Licence, and I have my own car.
