Both children are neurodivergent and thrive with connection, consistency and predictable routines. They are kind, funny, affectionate kids who enjoy spending time with adults who are patient, flexible and genuinely interested in them. They are not hard kids.

The role

We are looking for someone who can become a consistent and trusted part of our children’s week.

Responsibilities include:

• Kindergarten and school pick-ups
• Transporting and supporting Spencer at his exercise class and prep readiness class
• Supporting after-school routine
• Preparing simple snacks and meals
• Reading homework reader with Lacey
• Engaging in play, conversation and age-appropriate activities.

A driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are essential. Car seat will be provided where required.

Hours

Wednesday:
• Approximately 8:00am–4:00pm/5:00pm

Tuesday:
• 2:45pm–4:45pm one week
• 2:45pm–6:45pm the alternate week

We are happy to hear from applicants who can cover both days or only one of the available days.

The shorter Tuesday shift may be extended for the right candidate if a longer minimum shift is preferred.

About you

To meet In Home Care requirements, applicants must:

• Hold a Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education, OR
OR Be actively studying towards one of these qualifications.


Employment arrangement

The successful applicant will subcontract through our existing In Home Care provider. This is a straightforward arrangement and we are happy to assist the right person in understanding the process, including obtaining an ABN if required.

Pay

$35–$40 per hour depending on qualifications, experience and suitability.

Pick up from school (berwick to Narre warren)

We are looking for a sitter for our 4 year old, we need someone who is available for the first Friday and third Saturday evening of the month ongoing. Applicant must be reliable above all else. An ideal candidate would be available on an occasional basis as well for events that may come up with advance notice. The hours for the set Friday and Saturday are 7pm to 1am. (We don’t expect to be out till 1am often and more likely will be home around 12am) We are offering $30 per hour for the position.

What to Expect:

We have two dogs and a cat. We will put them away while you are here but if you have allergies we cannot accommodate them.

Our four year old will be fed, bathed, and ready to hang out when you arrive. We are hoping for someone who can create a “sleep over” vibe for him and be engaging with him. He can watch (pre approved) movies or play video games, or just play in general. We will inform you of our bed time routine so you can lay him down when he is tired.

The sitter should be able to pass a background check, CPR/first aid and references. The ideal sitter would be looking to stay on ongoing for at least a year( this is an important aspect as continunity of care is important for this age range). If interested please send CV and references.

About our little one
Our daughter will be turning one at the end of June. She is a happy, easy-going and playful little girl who loves getting out and about. She is very social, loves food, and is quite the chatterbox!

Duties include:
• Feeding (all food provided)
• Nappy changes
• Settling for naps
• Playing and engaging in age-appropriate activities
• Occasional outings to local playgrounds, playgroups, and baby rhyme time sessions at the library

Mum works from home as our daughter is exclusively breastfed. Nanny will only be required to feed one meal at lunch, meals will be prepared by the family. No household duties or cooking required.

Start date
We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and continue until late September/early October. Mum will commence maternity leave in October as we are expecting our second child.
