Looking for an after school nanny to pick our kids up from school and take home, feed dinner and shpervise homework for the 10 year old.
Ideal hours are 3pm - 7pm, Tuesday and Thursday. The schedule will be picking up my youngest (4yo) in South Yarra, then our oldest (10yo) in Armadale, and coming home to Albert Park.
The kids are pretty easy going and we value a calm household.
Scope to expand as we get into the term more.
We would love to have someone become a valued part of our family. Thanks!
We live in Albert Park and I need ongoing help with mornings and/or afternoons for my three boys: 8yr old twins and a 4yr old.
Here are the options:
Mornings 730am - 10am: Getting the boys ready, breakfast, walking to school / daycare
Afternoons 3pm - 7pm : Picking up from school / daycare and taking them to local activities (lessons). Helping with homework and preparing for dinner / showers.
Thursdays - hanging out with my 4yo then picking up the twins from school
Our ideal nanny should be engaging, energised, organised, calm, disciplined and patient. Whilst drivers license preferred, not necessary as everything is walking distance.
Bonus points if you can help with homework (reading books), play kids games, telling stories and play or understand music.
We'd prefer someone local (ie. within 5km) so please don't apply if you live far away!
Hello!
We are a happy and friendly family of 5 who live in Albert Park, right near the Village, beach, parks and all that our wonderful suburb has to offer.
We have three little boys, 5yo , 3 yo and 1 yo. So we are a very busy household looking for an extra pair of hands to help our day to day run smoothly.
Looking for someone who is able to help manage kinder pick ups and provide an extra pair of hands during the evening rush, assisting with dinner, bath, keeping the calm!
Monday -- 2:30-6:30pm (this day is preferred but not priority )
Tuesday -- 2:15 - 6:30pm
Wednesday --2:15 - 5:30pm
Thursday -- 2:30 - 5:30/6:30pm (this day is preferred but not priority)
You will be required to either assist by picking a child up from kinder and at times driving to swimming lessons etc so a license and own car is a must. We will provide car seat.
We are very friendly and relaxed family and love welcoming nannyβs and babysitters into our home and always do our best to make everyone feel part of the family.
If you are available for any or all of these requests please reach out so we can chat further!
*** start date flexible can offer earlier or (slightly) later if needed!! ****
We are looking for a nanny to look after our gorgeous 7 month old for three days a week (Tues/Wed/Thurs), starting as soon as possible with shifts of 6 and up to 8 hours per day.
We are looking for a person with excellent references, full drivers licence, and relevant experience who is aiming to commit to a family as the child grows.
While your focus would be on the baby we would love someone who could also contribute to the household and do some light tidying, food preparation, etc when time allows. You would be warm, kind, responsible, good at communicating, organised and able to take initiative with child activities and household tasks.
We are a busy welcoming family in Elwood.
$35 per hour, with potential to increase to $40 per hour depending on your experience and level of household responsibility.
If this sounds like you Iβd love to hear from you! Please respond giving details of your experience and why you think you would suit the role.
We're looking for a fun and energetic babysitter to help two full time working parents run the kids around after school Monday and Thursdays. Each week it will require you to drop kids between Sandringham and Port Melbourne, potentially help sort dinner and help us juggle the lives of our kids.
If you are up for some regular work while studying or working then this is an easy gig. Also options for additional babysitting if you are interested but no pressure.
You will need a driver's license and your own car. We will also contribute to your fuel bill.
We are a family of 5, with 3 children ages 6, 11 and 15, looking for someone to replace our current after school nanny, whose new Uni schedule unfortunately now clashes with when we require help.
Parents both work full time (with some flexibility), so we are looking for some extra help in the after school hours until dinner time. Duties include: school pickup (South Melbourne) assistance with homework, transport of the 6 and 11 year old to after school activities (it is preferable that you have your own car) and very occasionally dropping or picking up the 15 year from after school activities or her own baby-sitting jobs.
Candidate must also be comfortable with a small (very friendly) 4 year old cavoodle.
Also, some very light housework and food/dinner prep may be required at times. Please reach out if you think you could be the right fit for this role :)
We're looking for a nanny to help on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You'll mostly be looking after our 6 month old baby and 3 year old girl.
The role involves light housework βΒ washing, dishes, rubbish. We do most of the meal prep but you can help with that.
The kids love being outside so lots of adventures.
We want someone easy going, responsible, kind. Hoping for someone long term. Must have experience with babies.
Hello! We are a friendly young family looking for a part-time live-out nanny to care for our three children in Elwood from February (start date flexible). Further details below:
Days: Ideally Mon, Tues and Thurs 8am - 7pm, plus occasional night time babysitting. Hours on Monday and Tuesday can be flexible.
Ages of kids: 10, 7 and 4 (plus a friendly dog!)
Criteria: WWCC, driving licence (you can drive our car), fully vaccinated, references, non smoking (and first aid preferable)
Pay: Negotiable depending on experience and whether you are looking for casual or part time/contracted rate
Duties: caring for three children when they are not at school/kinder/grandparents, pick ups and drop offs, meal prep, kidsβ laundry, tidying, walking the dog
We have had a nanny for 10 years now and so we are experienced and committed employers. We are looking for someone who can commit to a longer term role and become part of our family.
While quality childcare is obviously still the priority, as the kids get older we are finding the nanny role involves a mix of childcare and helping us with the kidsβ school/kinder/sport logistics and general house keeping.
Please get in touch if you are interested. Looking to interview (either over the phone or in person) in the second half of January.
The evening position which I posted about previously is now filled. I am currently looking for an au pair for before school and afternoon hours.
The kids are in childcare 5 days a week so I will need help with their morning routine, evening routine, meal prep, household management, walking the dog, meal prep and day-to-day tasks.
We live in a 6 star apartment building with access to all the amenities: hot tub, pool, gym, sauna, steam shower, BBQ area, library in the building and workspace. We are amongst all the cafe's, restaurants and public transport at our doorstep.
This is a support the mother role, rather than just a nanny role. Minimum 6 months, 35-40 hours per week. Bills and food paid for except your phone and personal items. You will have your own room and the bathroom would be shared with guests.
For more information, please email me your CV, with WWCC and I will be happy to discuss the details further with you. My email is artikasingh.aba@gmail.com

Weβre a young family based in South Yarra with our sweet two and a half -year-old son. I work from home and am looking for someone to spend quality, engaged time with him while I work in another room. He is a very happy little boy with a beautiful nature who loves playing, music, story time, being outdoors, staying active, and heading out for adventures like trips to the park or library.
We would ideally love someone who speaks fluent Italian so he can be exposed to and grow up around another language (my heritage is Italian). We would also appreciate help with light household tidying as needed β things like dishwasher loading/unloading, hanging washing, and small daily resets.
We are really hoping to find someone looking for a longer-term role, as building consistency and trust is very important to us. Our little one forms lovely bonds with the people around him, so we are hoping to find someone who is planning to be in Australia long-term to help avoid difficult goodbyes and provide him with stability and continuity.
We are a warm, relaxed and loving household and would love to welcome someone who is genuine, present and kind.
Please reach out if this sounds like you β weβd love to organise a proper chat!

We are a kind and respectful family of four living in the Melbourne CBD looking for some help from April (Term 2) this year:
- kinder and school drop offs and pick-ups for our two children aged 3 and 10;
- supervising 10 year old to do reading, homework and musical instrument practice Mon-Thurs
- ad hoc evening babysitting on a week night or weekend if you are available
Hours would be around 6:45am to 9.15am and 3pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday during school term. School holidays off. Open to a part-time, casual or contractor arrangement. The role involves commuting between the city, St Kilda and Essendon to drop off and collect the kids at different schools. We are open to a live-in arrangement and on offer we have a bedroom available with a queen bed, TV, unlimited wifi and lots of streaming subscriptions, direct access to a bathroom shared with the kids and food provided (including evening meals with the family). A live in arrangement might suit an au pair from overseas or a local university student who might be looking for CBD accommodation. For a live out arrangement we are also open to splitting the role casually or part-time between two people. We currently have an au pair living with us who is great, and is finishing up at the start of April.
We're looking for a regular nanny to help us with our 1yr old baby girl. The job involves:

We are looking at around 4-8 hours each week (1-2 sessions, depending on the week). Requirement is during working hours (between 8am - 5pm) but lots of opportunity for extra shifts. Flexible in terms of which day(s) and can change on different weeks.
