We are a lively, happy family of seven – two parents, five wonderful kids aged 3 to 15, and a friendly dog! We’re looking for a kind, warm, and fun person to become part of our village, supporting us in the daily rhythm of family life.
This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and young people, who is patient, caring, and knows how to create a calm, connected environment even in the midst of a busy household.
What We’d Love Help With:
• After-school support (3 days a week, 3pm–6pm): School pick-ups, simple meal prep, homework help, and gentle encouragement for tidying bedrooms.
• One of those days starting earlier (around midday) to help with light housekeeping: vacuuming, laundry, and helping tidy.
• One-on-one mentoring for our older kids (ages 11–15): Supporting them with meal prep, tidying, and homework organisation as needed.
• A half-day every second weekend (or so) to give us parents time to recharge.
• Light dog care as part of the family rhythm. He is in training as a therapy dog and a beautiful little pup.
Hours & Pay:
• Approx. 12–15 hours per week
• $40 per hour
• Family is based in Warranwood.

We are a family of four looking for a caring nanny to join our household. Our little boy is seven months old and our daughter is almost four. We are looking for a reliable nanny two days a week who is enthusiastic about engaging with children, creating a fun and nurturing environment as well as supporting their development.
We are a family of 5, with 3 children ages 5, 10 and 14, looking for someone to replace our current after school nanny, who is sadly (sad for us, but exciting for her!) moving overseas . Parents both work full time (with some flexibility), so we are looking for some extra help in the after school hours until dinner time. Duties include: school pickup (South Melbourne) assistance with homework, transport of the 10 year old to after school activities ( it is preferable that you have your own car). Of these tasks, the majority of time would be spent with the 5 and 10 year old, getting them home from school and helping with homework and other after-school assistance that may be required. Candidate must also be comfortable with a small (very friendly) 3 year old cavoodle.

We’re a friendly family looking for a reliable and fun babysitter to help with weekday afternoons. The job involves picking up our lively 5-year-old from school at 3:30pm and walking her home (about a 10 to 20 minute walk), then making some easy snacks and spending time with her for some relaxed, unstructured play until we get home from work around 5:30pm with our younger daughter. Mum and Dad live across two different houses, which are about five minutes' walk apart, but the routine is fundamentally the same at each house.

The key duty is to pick the girls up from school in Kew and drive them home in Northcote (or other activities) so having a full licence and good driving record is really important. In addition to picking them up it would be great if you can assist the girls with homework, crafts, and outdoor play, prepare healthy meals and snacks and undertake some light housekeeping.
We are looking for someone to join us from July ongoing to help with school picks ups and after school care 4 days per week Tues-Friday. Currently the kids love arts and crafts, building things, cubbies, trampolining, gymnastics, lego, ice cream. Paid 3h each time. Also upflexing during the school holidays would be great! If you need more hours can discuss more too. Pick up time is 3pm. We live in Northcote and kids are at two schools very close to each other just up the road in Ivanhoe. 4yo boy and 7yo girl. Own car preferable with car seats and car costs covered but not essential. Keen for a longer term commitment so the kids and you can settle in well together! Also keen for all the usual checks (WWCC) and references from past families. And our past nanny's are happy to let you know about us too. Our current nanny is finishing up to move to a full time role at our local school.
