Our family is looking for some support after-school, in our home for a couple of days per week.
I have Multiple Sclerosis which provides challenges day to day and I experience quite a bit of fatigue. By late afternoon and into the evening I tend to need to conserve energy therefore I’m looking for some support with my daughter (8 years old). She is very active and requires dedicated attention, game playing, conversation and creative output.
I’d like to chat about what would work (can be flexible) but initial thoughts are: - Mon and Wed afterschool 4-6pm - interaction and learning through play - ideas around creative play / set up stations of play - some room tidying / sorting - must be dog friendly (anxious dog but will be managed)

I am looking for someone short term (22 July- 28 August) to collect children from 1 school (5 minute drive) bring them home and look after them until we return from work at 5:30/6pm. (The lady who has been helping me for many years is going overseas during this time.) my eldest is 15 years old (she is very independent), I have a 12 year old who walks home from school (independent) and it’s the 2 younger girls (9 and 7) who need to be collected from school.
Basic meal prep and house keeping duties also required (laundry)
Tuesday Wednesday Thursday happy for you to start 2-6pm or 3-5:30). If you can just work one or 2 of these days this is ok too.

He is supported after school 3pm-8pm, weekends and school holiday. One of his current support workers is going away later in the year and we are looking to start training someone to replace her starting end of june. Days are flexible with tuesday, wednesday and thursday after school avaiable and fortnightly Sundays 3pm-8pm available. To start with we would be looking for 1-2 shifts per week with the potential to increase in the future. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to be mature, nurturing, and to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Our current nanny helps us greatly by spending some time helping us to reset the house which makes the week go really smoothly.
