I am a mum of 2 boys aged 6 and 8. I am looking for casual babysitting on the odd occasion that I need my kids to be looked after in the evenings during the week. This is my first time searching for someone to mind my children outside of family, so it is really important for me to find the perfect babysitter to understand my children's needs.
Just a little about my boys...
My 6 year old boy is very kind and affectionate and is usually very easy to get along and communicate with.
My 8 year old boy has recently been diagnosed with ADHD. There are moments where he may get worked up with minor things and we are all learning how to manage our new lifestyle with this, but deep down he is a caring and aware boy :)
The role for this job will include dinner time and bedtime routine mainly and you are welcome to entertain the boys with things they enjoy which is reading, lego and colouring in and whatever else they might feel like doing on the night.
Bedtime routine is usually easy. Once they brush their teeth and wear their pyjamas they will be in bed around 8.30-9.

The key duty is to pick the girls up from school in Kew and drive them home in Northcote (or other activities) so having a full licence and good driving record is really important. In addition to picking them up it would be great if you can assist the girls with homework, crafts, and outdoor play, prepare healthy meals and snacks and undertake some light housekeeping.
We have a beautiful 10 month old boy named Sonny. We’re after a regular nanny two-three times a week to begin (Tuesdays and Thursdays and fridays ) around 5-6 hours at a time, and on occasions for longer. Activities will involve taking him and our dog for walks, playing in the garden, reading, preparing food and feeding, etc, and bed time some times.

The babysitter will be working side-by-side with me for the morning and evening routine and will not be on their own as I have a 2 year old and an under 1 year old. I just need an extra pair of hands to help me with routines.
I live in South Yarra so we have access to all public transport within minutes, restaurants, CBD, etc. You will also have access to pool, hot tub/jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gym facilities should you wish to do so before or after work.
I have a 1 year old and if you do not have experience that is okay as I train people how to work with kids and babies as a living.
Duties will include playing with baby, tidying up toys, diaper changes, meal prep, tidying up, cleaning bottles, walking dog. I typically do the feed, bath and bed with the baby but if I am unable to then I will get your help.

My husband and I are looking for part time care at our home in South Yarra for our lovely easy going 5 month old daughter, and occasionally her adventurous and outgoing 2.5yo brother although he is mostly at daycare. Hours would be 20-25 hours per week spread over Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays (approx 7.30am to 4pm). There would be opportunity to do ad hoc extra days and occasional evening babysitting. Looking for someone with experience to care for 2 children aged 3.5years (girl) and 5years (boy) after school. Hours are Wednesday Friday from 3pm to 6pm. We live in Alphington. Our daughter is 1, and has a full time daycare spot, however I prefer her to be picked up from daycare by 5pm at the latest— which isn’t something my husband and I can always manage.

What I have in mind is:
Come to our house at around 4pm on Monday and Tuesday and Thursday (if that works with your other commitments, noting that we do have some flexibility about the days). Empty the dishwasher for us, chuck on a 15 minute wash, and hang out the washing.
Leave our house on foot at around 4:30pm to pick up Eliza from daycare. (It’s a 10-15 minute walk).
Pick up our daughter and walk her home in the pram. Most likely she will then just want to play for a while, though she may also want food, in which case we will ask you to start the process of giving her dinner (which will just involve microwaving some food we keep in the freezer).
We will then be home at around 530-6, or 630 at the latest.

(The lady who has been helping me for many years is going overseas during this time.) my eldest is 15 years old (she is very independent), I have a 12 year old who walks home from school (independent) and it’s the 2 younger girls (9 and 7) who need to be collected from school.
Basic meal prep and house keeping duties also required (laundry)
Tuesday Wednesday Thursday happy for you to start 2-6pm or 3-5:30). If you can just work one or 2 of these days this is ok too.
