We are a warm, loving professional family of four in South Yarra seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for our children in 2026.
Hours:
3 days per week – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
There is also some flexibility for additional work on Mondays and Tuesdays for the right person.
Children:
- Primary care for our 1-year-old daughter
- Care for her 3-year-old brother outside of kindergarten hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for our 1-year-old
- Taking the 1-year-old to organised activities and outings
- Using initiative at home with age-appropriate play, art, reading and learning activities
- Planning and preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children and family
- Assisting with children’s laundry
- Maintaining order and tidiness in common living areas and the children’s bedrooms
- Assisting with kindergarten drop-off and pick-up for our 3-year-old as required (15–20 minute walk)

Essential Requirements:
- Current Police Check and Working With Children Check
- Direct and recent experience caring for infants and preschool-aged children
- Warm, friendly and reliable personality
- Genuine love of working with children
- Ability to take initiative with household tasks, meal planning and children’s activities
- Confident working independently
Ideal (but not essential):
- Tertiary qualification in a health or childcare-related field
- Full driver’s licence
- ABN and invoicing system
