Hello, we are a happy, friendly famly in St Kilda East looking for a helper to assist with our two boys (aged 7 and 9). The days are Tues, Wed and Thurs from 3pm to 5.30pm. Your main job would be to supervise the kids after school activities and help with some light housework. It would involve feeding the kids afternoon tea, helping them with homework, reading with them, prepping dinner and some light housework (washing / folding clothes and emptying the dishwasher). Hello, I'm seeking a mature and experienced nanny for 5 regular long days per month, plus ad hoc extra days as needed. The set days will be regular each month and include 2 Tuesdays and 2 Thursdays (in the same weeks of the month), and 1 Wednesday. Occasional extra days will come up each month, mostly weekdays and occasionally a Saturday - I would offer you this work and can make other plans if you're not available.
My baby daughter will be 3 months old when I return to work in the medical field. Experience, trustworthiness and reliability are most important. Nursing, midwifery, early childhood or other similar qualifications (including cooking!) would be highly valued and I can be flexible wherever possible to make things work for the right person. Ideally you would live in a nearby suburb so that transport/commuting is not a factor.
Start time 7am most days, occasionally 6.30am (once/month usually, occasionally one extra early start per month). Finish time around 6.30pm, may vary by 1/2 to 1 hour either side. Some flexibility is required on occasions if I get stuck at work. I will always have a backup family member available for emergencies, but would really value someone who understands the nature of my work commitments and who can usually be flexible when needed.
Main focus of course is the baby and associated tasks; keeping the house clean and tidy and running nicely would be much appreciated (emptying dishwasher, batch cooking, small errands, occasional ironing/using steam iron on a few items would be very welcome). There is a regular house cleaner already.

One of his current support workers is going away later in the year and we are looking to start training someone to replace her starting end of june. Days are flexible with tuesday, wednesday and thursday after school avaiable and fortnightly Sundays 3pm-8pm available. To start with we would be looking for 1-2 shifts per week with the potential to increase in the future. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to be mature, nurturing, and to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Looking for a babysitter/mothers helper for 2-3 mornings a week for min 3 hours to assist with caring for our newborn baby girl while I take our toddler to daycare, run errands, do jobs around the house, or sleep.
Your job will be solely to care for the baby, which will involve feeding, burping and changing her, rocking her to sleep, maybe folding some washing. This is mainly done in our lounge room, so you can watch TV at the same time. As she gets older, putting her to sleep in her crib (you can watch her on the monitor) and doing some light household duties, e.g. unloading the dishwasher.
