I am looking for a babysitter who can really engage with my kids who are 5 and 8.
They have vastly different personalities so you need to be able to speak with them and engage with them differently , creatively and compassionately and sometimes be a mediator ! It will really come down to how well you can interact with them and really how much they gravitate towards you.
Everything else that I would require is the standard police check , wwc , driving , responsibility and safety etc etc !
At the moment it is casual work moving into the holidays and then it’ll be regular !

Hi , We are looking for some support to look after our three energetic boys ( 9, 12 and 14) three days a week. The job includes picking them up from school, taking them to after school activities , setting them up to do homework and making dinner. The hours are 3pm school pick-up to approximately 7pm on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We live in Kew East are a relaxed easy going family and the boys have been used to having nanny’s/baby sitters for a number of years now. We are a family of 5. Our daughter is 17 and fairly self-sufficient ( although she needs reminding to clean her room- like every teen) She is in year 12. We have a son who is 15 and in year 9 . He has started rowing and is enjoying it. . Finally we have our 10 year old. A very funny kid who is high functioning autistic.
We are looking for a nanny Monday-Thursday to pick our 10 yr old up from school in Malvern East and return home to Hawthorn East. A car is essential for this. We are needing a nanny to cook dinner (nothing fancy), make lunches, , do washing/folding and a tidy as you go (although we have cleaner come weekly).
Also we have 2 dogs and a rescue cat- full house.

I’m looking for someone to join my team as a support worker for a beautiful 10 year old boy with Norries Disease who is blind and has autism and an intellectual disability. He is supported after school 3pm-8pm, weekends and school holiday. One of his current support workers is going away later in the year and we are looking to start training someone to replace her starting end of june. Days are flexible with tuesday, wednesday and thursday after school avaiable and fortnightly Sundays 3pm-8pm available. To start with we would be looking for 1-2 shifts per week with the potential to increase in the future. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to be mature, nurturing, and to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role. We are looking for someone who can make a long term commitment of at last 1 year and the role requires regular weekly work with the child to be able to work with him on the school holidays so I am not able to accept applicants who are looking for temporary or solely school holiday work. We are looking for a casual babysitter to help look after our children aged 2, 5 and 7. We are looking for an extra set of hands (mother's helper) some evenings and weekends while mum is around. We are looking for a wonderful addition to the family to help two busy working parents. We find it difficult to manage all the pick ups with our work schedules, + after school activities. Our current nanny helps us greatly by spending some time helping us to reset the house which makes the week go really smoothly. We'd love to find someone that might be happy to do some light housework (dishes, tidying kids toys) that will help us reset and keep things in order through the week.
Someone with flexibility in schedule would be great as needs may vary a little week to week. One parent travels each week (Thursday and Friday). We can commit to min hours as needed.
