My wife and I are hoping to find a caring nanny for our two daughters Elin 4 and Esther 2. We live in the Macedon ranges. We are after someone who can come and look after them at our house 3-4 days per week (Mon-Fri), days tbc, between about 9am-5pm. Elin is at kinder two days per week so on those days you will only need to look after Esther. There won’t be any household tasks involved (except helping the girls clean up their toys) and possibly light meal prep. Either myself or Sofia will be working from our home office so you will always have an another adult there if needed, for example for breaks. Sofia works in HR and I work in marketing. The girls haven’t had a babysitter before but Elin absolutely adores her kinder teachers and is very excited about the prospect of having another adult to play with on the days not at kinder. They’re genuinely lovely, well-behaved kids. The older ones are very independent, so although we’re a family of five children, the level of hands-on care is very different across the ages. Our youngest naturally needs the most hands-on attention.

We’re hoping to find a reliable babysitter we can use regularly, rather than having someone different each time. It’s really important to us that the kids get to know the same person and feel comfortable and relaxed with them.

We’re also getting married on 12 December this year and would ideally love to have found someone by then who already knows the kids and who we trust and feel comfortable with. We’d love that person to help us with the kids on our wedding day and stay overnight with them.

We are looking for a new permanent full-time nanny to provide care primarily to our younger son who is 3.5yrs old. Our current nanny of more than two years is moving onto a new administrative role. We also have an older boy who is 7.5yrs old and attends school full time. The role is for Monday to Friday. Hours are generally 7.30am starts to 5.50-6pm and some flexibility is required as we are both medical professionals. Fridays can be an earlier finish of about 4pm.

Our employment arrangement is a permanent full-time contract with set hourly rate of $40-44/hr (depending on qualifications and experience) plus superannuation, annual and sick leave entitlements.

Our younger son attends a local kinder program Mon-Thurs 9-12 so we would expect some light housework including basic meal prep, light laundry and tidying assistance.

Our older son has intellectual disability, is non-verbal and attends a special school. He has scheduled after-school activities 4 days a week. He is physically healthy.

We need someone keen and willing to learn to support our older son with disability but specific experience is not essential.
