Hi there! We’ve just moved to Elsternwick from the other side of town, and our kids are in Prep and Grade 2, and have settled in beautifully at their new school.

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable babysitter to help us out one afternoon a week (likely Wednesdays if that works) — picking the kids up from school at 3:30 pm and hanging out with them until about 6:30 pm (timing negotiable).

We live about a 5–10 minute drive from the school. The job involves collecting the kids, playing, preparing simple snacks or dinner, and a bit of light tidying of kid-related chaos.

Some weeks, we might ask if you’re free for an extra afternoon or an occasional date night, but that’s totally optional.

We’ve been lucky to have wonderful babysitters in the past who’ve become part of our family over the years - we’d love to find another lovely local fit! We’re a warm, inclusive household (and have a very friendly cat!), so we’d love to find someone who’s LGBTQI+ friendly and comfortable with pets.

Hi babysitters, we have three boys aged 4 months, 3 and 5, and are looking for someone to join our village and help us out on some weekends/evenings! Our gorgeous 3 year old has a disability - his motor development is not delayed but cognitively he is at a 12 month level, so he is always climbing and running but doesn't understand risks/safety - he is a hilarious and joyful handful!! Our 5 year old is a big help with him though and they all go to bed very easily. You wouldn't be on your own with the 3 of them awake - it would just be helping me out at home or taking one of them to the park, those sorts of things! Basically we don't have any family close by and just need a bit of support :) let me know if this interests you! We also have a dog and a cat so if you have allergies we are not the house for you unfortunately!
