We are looking for a fun and caring nanny / babysitter for our two children (aged 5 and 8) on Monday and Tuesday afternoons / evenings for 3-4 hours each day.
The role would involve collecting the kids from their school (based in Elsternwick) at 3.30pm and bringing them back to our house (also in Elsternwick) and caring for them (dinner, bath, activities) until around 6.30/7pm and doing simple household tasks like prepping dinner, loading dishwasher, basic tidying etc. Flexible commencement date. Can use our car or your own car to collect them.
We are searching for a Nanny for two children to work with us three days a week - approx 8am to 5:30pm each day.
On Monday and Tuesday you would care for our 16 month old girl while our 4 year old is at Kindergarten, and on Wednesday you would take care of both girls. We are in Elsternwick with one of the older child’s activities on Wednesday requiring you to drive to a nearby suburb. We have lovely playgrounds close by and live right next to Ripponlea estate and gardens, so lots to entertain them both.

What we’re looking for in our dream nanny is:
• Not responding to this with an AI generated response (we can tell)
• Warm, fun, patient, and genuinely loves spending time with little ones. Be engaging enough to get the kids comfortable pretty quickly.
• Experienced with multiple children at once
• Experienced with girls e.g. can do girls’ hair, can play pretend makeup, draw, be creative with crafts, etc.
• Professional, punctual, organised, clean, responsible and easy-going (I’m quite OCD with toys being put away in their place and things cleaned properly)
• Confident in the kitchen for preparing kids’ meals/snacks (at a minimum you can scramble eggs, make omelettes, French toast, if not, I’ll be teaching you)
• Able to work around naps (2 kids still nap consistently in the middle of the day)
• Proactive with light household help: e.g., folding laundry, tidying kids’ spaces, unpacking groceries
• Engaged and educational – helping our older two with early literacy, counting, days of the week, etc. and our little one with learning words (no TV plonking)
• Active and hands-on — walks, babycino outings, playgrounds, books, crafts, cubby house builds, etc.
• Skilled with bathtime routines: drying hair, moisturising, managing post-bath chaos!
• Comfortable around friendly dogs

I’m looking for someone to join my team as a support worker for a beautiful 10 year old boy with Norries Disease who is blind and has autism and an intellectual disability. He is supported after school 3pm-8pm, weekends and school holiday. One of his current support workers is going away later in the year and we are looking to start training someone to replace her starting end of june. Days are flexible with, wednesday and thursday after school available and fortnightly Sundays 3pm-8pm available. To start with we would be looking for 1-2 shifts per week with the potential to increase in the future. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to be mature, nurturing, and to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role. We are looking for someone who can make a long term commitment of at last 1 year and the role requires regular weekly work with the child to be able to work with him on the school holidays so I am not able to accept applicants who are looking for temporary or solely school holiday work.
