If you love getting outdoors, enjoy engaging with little ones, and appreciate a family who leads an active lifestyle, we’d love to meet you.
Hello my name is Liz and I am a mum to 4 kids. I live in Avondale Heights. I am looking for someone specifically for Wednesday 21 Jan to look after my 4 kids from 8:45am until around 11am or a little later (just a few hours in the morning) We do use babysitters from time to time, so it's likely this job would lead to more casual babysitting later. If you are available on the morning of Wednesday 21 January and you love working with kids, have all the relevant checks such as WWCC and references and you live close to Avondale Heights, please message me.

It would be great if some light house keeping was also done if there was time - ie doing clothes washing etc.
We are a pretty creative and relaxed household with a friendly dog. The dog would love some cuddle and occasional walk if you wanted to take the baby and dog out during the day.
We are looking for a warm, practical summer nanny (with option to continue into school term if keen) to help out with our sociable and happy 5 year old boy who loves lego, fossils, museums, the aquarium, going to the park etc. 18-20 hours per week, across three days, we are flexible re exact time and days however something like 12-6pm would be ideal. Must have driver’s licence and solid babysitting experience with at least one reference we can call. Tasks include outings, fun and games at home, making lunch and/or dinner, keeping his room and play areas tidy, day to day small errands, eg picking up milk / bread for household, etc. Warm and inclusive family with comfy house and big garden to play in, a great park at end of our street and great public transport connections. We would love to be able to take our babysitter away on at least some of our planned beach holiday between 19th to 28th January to St Andrews Beach - staying in a spacious beach house with your own room and bathroom right by beach with large heated pool, games room etc. Ideally we’d love you to come and work with us through January and February to settle into school year but at least through until the end of January.
We are looking for a caring, experienced and enthusiastic person to help take care of our children. We have a 12 year old, a 9 year old and a 21 month old.

We are a friendly family with three children aged 6, 9 and 11, and we’re looking for a reliable, energetic and caring person to support us during the school term.
The role involves collecting the children from school in Ascot Vale two afternoons Monday and Thursday and returning home to Brunswick. Afternoons will include helping with homework (usually about 20 minutes), playing with them, preparing very simple meals or snacks.
We’re seeking someone who shows initiative, is organised, and can be flexible as school, sport and homework schedules naturally change. Just as importantly, we’d love to find someone kind, calm and engaging who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and can balance fun with responsibility. Experience caring for children of similar ages is important, and we’re ideally looking for someone who can commit for the remainder of the year.
You’ll be welcome to use our car as part of the role.
References from at least two sources are required.

Hello, we require a person to collect our child from Wales Street Primary School. He is a 10 year child who is well mannered and easy going. He is into trains and likes playing chess. I have put down 3 days - Monday to Wednesday but most likely will be 2 and the days concerned can be discussed.
I look forward to hearing from you.
We are a happy family of 3 with no pets seeking a professional caregiver to help our young son continue to thrive while his mother returns to work part time. This job is to care for a 17 month old boy. Up to 22 hours per week on a casual / ad-hoc basis: Hours are 9-5 mon & Tues and 9-3 Wed. We don't require assistance with house work, but do sometimes need assistance with preparing his meals; just taking what's available/ precooked out of the fridge - lunch and possibly dinner if he gets hungry earlier. Also cleaning up his tray and bib after each meal and rinsing his bottles to run the sterilizer on those would be appreciated. The baby currently takes 2 naps a day, first nap is 1 hr and the second nap is 1.5hrs. If the baby is sleeping you can to to the local shops 5min walk away for lunch/ exercise / coffee break. The father often works from home and can help with diaper changing, lifting the baby and questions. Our son is a gentle, contemplative boy who loves to giggle at silly antics and play with his toy cars. We speak to him in two languages Serbian and English. We are 5 min walk from train station and there is a free parking space directly infront of our house you can use.
Hi! We are a family of 3 - I am Betty (30), my husband Anthony (34) and baby Aria (18m). Aria is absolutely the heart of our family - she is so curious and cheeky! She loves dancing to music, reading books and is hands down an outdoors baby who wants to be outside, rain hail or shine.
We are looking for a babysitter to cover my working hours on Fridays (9am-12pm (3hrs) and/or 2-5pm (3hrs)) starting on a weekly basis from 16 Jan 2026. Anthony and I will both be present and working from home, and Anthony’s workspace is in the living room (which is also sometimes a play space).
What we are looking for in a babysitter: Aria is by temperament cautious, sensitive and slow to warm up, so it is important to us that her babysitter is gentle, patient, empathetic and emotionally-attuned to her and her needs, and is willing to give her full attention and consistency to foster trust. She is also starting to experience big emotions, so we are looking for someone who is able to help her identify her emotions and comfort her through any feelings that may overwhelm her. We would like a babysitter who adopts screen-free and child-led play, and someone who genuinely enjoys playing and engaging with toddlers and is willing to follow Aria’s cues and interests (which might mean potentially repeating the same word over and over again, or playing the same game over and over again!). We are looking for someone to delight in Aria, encourage her and help her understand her experiences.
Some things we will not be expecting you to do include: putting Aria to sleep, making food (other than getting pre-made snacks for Aria), cleaning/housework.
Please reach out if you think you would be a great fit! Looking forward to hearing from you!
