They have vastly different personalities so you need to be able to speak with them and engage with them differently , creatively and compassionately and sometimes be a mediator ! It will really come down to how well you can interact with them and really how much they gravitate towards you.
Everything else that I would require is the standard police check , wwc , driving , responsibility and safety etc etc !

My wife and I (M34 & F34) are looking for a nanny 2 days per week from 9am-5pm to care for our 18 mth old daughter, either on Tuesday-Wednesday (preferable) or Wednesday-Thursday as we are very sadly saying goodbye to our current nanny who is moving to the UK.
Our daughter follows a structured sleep routine, so we are looking for someone who is able and willing to follow it as necessary. She is a very good sleeper as a result, so it's usually pretty casual during her day sleeps.
We also have two dogs (Beagles who are 9 & 7) so being comfortable and having a liking for dogs is important!
A willingness to do light housework/laundry/cleaning would be beneficial but not a dealbreaker, mostly to clean up after our little one and do her laundry.

I’m looking for someone to join my team as a support worker for a beautiful 10 year old boy with Norries Disease who is blind and has autism and an intellectual disability. He is supported after school 3pm-8pm, weekends and school holiday. One of his current support workers is going away later in the year and we are looking to start training someone to replace her starting end of june. Days are flexible with tuesday, wednesday and thursday after school avaiable and fortnightly Sundays 3pm-8pm available. To start with we would be looking for 1-2 shifts per week with the potential to increase in the future. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to be mature, nurturing, and to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role. We are looking for someone who can make a long term commitment of at last 1 year and the role requires regular weekly work with the child to be able to work with him on the school holidays so I am not able to accept applicants who are looking for temporary or solely school holiday work. We are a family of 5. Our daughter is 17 and fairly self-sufficient ( although she needs reminding to clean her room- like every teen) She is in year 12. We have a son who is 15 and in year 9 .
