Babysitting and Nanny Jobs in Mount Mee QLD

We are seeking a kind, reliable, and engaging individual to care for our kindergarten-aged child from 8:00am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday.

About the Role:
This position involves creating a warm, play-based learning environment that supports our child’s development in alignment with kindergarten-approved learning activities. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of early childhood education and can foster creativity, curiosity, and confidence through thoughtful play and routine.

What We’re Looking For:
Ideally holds a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently studying)
Experience working with young children in a childcare or kindergarten setting
A nurturing and patient approach to supporting emotional and developmental needs
Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)

Additional Details:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 1:00pm
Location: Burpengary East
Pay: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications

Monday 23/06 through and including Friday 27/06 from 4pm till 7pm to assist mum while I am away on a business trip.
- assist with daycare pickup (1min drive from our home), dinner, bath, bedtime routine.
- assist with light housework if required (eg stack/unstack dishwasher after the night routine)

Young professional couple with two young boys (1yo & 2yo) and small dog. We have a modern 4bedroom house in Mitchelton, once the boys are in bed you can have your own space in the spare bedroom, enjoy our media rooms and make use of all the creature comforts.
We can supply car if necessary for day-care pickups.

Ongoing care for the foreseeable future
- Every few months I will be travelling for business for about a week, our boys will require care from 4pm-7pm monday to friday to help mum out.
- One saturday a month our boys will require care from 12pm - 8pm while mum and dad sneak out for a date.
- At random mum and dad will attend other events where a sitter is required.
