Hi everyone. We are looking for a fun, reliable nanny who can help with our two children for after school care at least three days a week. Our son is three and at daycare and our five year old daughter is in Prep. We are located in Carina Heights, with the daycare and school in the next suburb. My husband and I both work full time, and therefore keen to find someone who can help assist our family. Must have a car and licence. Happy to negotiate rate. Possibility of further days or weekend work, if of interest. Please feel free to reach out for further details. Look forward to hearing from you.
We are seeking a nanny to join our family and assist with looking after our energetic toddler, as well as helping mum on whilst maternity leave with the newborn. Our wonderful nanny / housekeeper has had to unexpectedly head home to her family in Ireland. She was truly a part of our family, we miss her dearly and we have our fingers crossed we will be able to find someone who will fill her big shoes!
We're looking for someone who:
- Is kind, affectionate, full of energy and who loves children
- Loves toddlers babies and feels confident with them, their big personalities and emotions and can be calm and compassionate whilst engaging them
- Is energetic and loves getting outdoors and keeping up with an active toddler in parks, classes and play dates
- Is dynamic, takes initiative, and proactively organizes us and our household/ keeps us all calm, the house tidy and running well
- Is confident to help mum when needed with juggling a toddler and newborn
- Is reliable as Dad (and Mum when working) have important roles which require attendance
- Is capable assisting with meal preparation and cooking healthy meals for the family
- Assists with keeping the house in order and running smoothly, including some light cleaning, washing and errands (note we have a cleaner who comes several times per week)
My name is Maggie and my partner Julian and I are looking for a nanny for our daughter Minty, who is 13 months. She is a very easy going, happy baby who loves to play.
Who are we?
Julian is a television producer and I am a writer. We were living in Amsterdam prior to COVID and moved back to Brisbane where I grew up, but moved away at 18. We are creatives who love great food, great music, and socialising!
Why do we need a nanny?
As my father is very unwell and Julian's parents live interstate we don't currently have any babysitting support for when we want to do something together as a couple, so we're looking for someone who can watch Minty on the days/evenings we want to do something together. Also, we are getting married in October (!) so will need a great nanny who can attend with Minty and watch her for that weekend.
What kind of person would be good for the job?
We both work so need a bit of an all rounder who can jump in and do some dishes as well as looking after Minty. You're not a house cleaner but you're also not afraid to give the kitchen a wipe down if it's a disaster zone. Must be fun loving and happy to interact with Minty, not plonk her in front of the TV. Usually we will need you over the weekend - so Saturday evenings will need to be free. Ideally, we want someone who can stay with us in a long-term arrangement so Minty makes a friend, not just a babysitter.
I have a 6 month old boy, very bubbly and happy.
At this stage seeking babysitter on Mondays 1100-1700, and Friday's 0900-1700.
There is the possibility of more casual work on other days.
It would be preferred that babysitters have a car & licence, but not essential (we live opposite the Mt Coot-Tha botanical gardens, and I am aware that some major lines run past there).
Should you respond to this job, please include all of your current availability (including days & times) from July - end October.
Look forward to hearing from you, Emma

Hi everyone, we’re looking for a carer for our two kids aged (by then) 3 and 5. We’re looking for someone who is able to help out in the early mornings - from about 6:15 up until and including school/kindy drop off (so no later than 9). Car and license are preferable but we could probably make it work for the right person without these.
The job would include helping them get dressed when they get up, breakfast ready, bags packed and supervision/play until school and kindy. No specific cleaning required but putting brekkie dishes in the dishwasher or sink would be a great help.
They are good kids, no specific needs or medical requirements. Our oldest wants to be Rapunzel one day so any hair care skills is a bonus ☺️
Any questions please send me a message, would be more than happy to chat.
