We are wanting someone long term and that is flexible with start and finish times. Start times will vary from 7am - 9am and finish times 330-630pm. I’m a nurse and my husband runs his own business so need to be very understanding of this. Monday & Tuesday would be collection of both the boys from daycare at 330/4pm and stay till about 6/630pm (play, bath & dinner). You would then have my 14 month old alone on Wednesday. But would need to do drop off and pick up of my 3.5 year old from daycare. We live in Baulkham Hills Must have references, working with children check, first aid, own car and clean driving record. Primary focus on the development of their precious little baby and maintaining his routine. While the nanny’s focus will be mainly on the baby’s care and associated activities, the family’s other children, 8-year-old twin girls, will need direction and friendly encouragement when at home after school and during school holidays. The children are self-sufficient, but need to feel comfortable communicating and be happily occupied in the same spaces. They may occasionally want to help with the baby’s care and housekeeping duties and the family encourages them to take on age appropriate tasks. Housekeeping duties specific to the baby are required when the carer has time - preparing his meals, folding/washing his clothes if needed, and also overall housekeeping when the baby is sleeping such as light tidying and keeping the kitchen and common areas clean and tidy. Mum works remotely from home in the tech industry. Dad occasionally works from home in the finance industry. Must have extensive experience with newborn babies and with school aged children. Must love dogs. Family dog (Whippet) is both energetic and sensitive/quiet. Easy and only needs to be let out the back door a few times a day. Must have current first aid certification or happy to update. The family is looking for a January start and an ongoing commitment. Parents are fully vaccinated and candidate must also be fully vaccinated. Parents will manage drop offs and pick ups for the older children once school returns. The family have a pool so must also be a confident swimmer for safety reasons.
