We’re a warm, easy-going family looking for a caring and reliable nanny to help look after our 17-month-old.

We’re seeking support one day per week to start, with the intention to increase to two days per week once things are settled. The days are flexible, however availability on Fridays is preferred.

Hours:
8:30am – 4:30pm, with occasional flexibility to stay until 5:00pm if needed.

You’ll be caring for an active, curious toddler in a relaxed home environment. We also have two friendly indoor cats, so you’ll need to be comfortable around pets.

Need care for a 4 year old toddler taken care in the mornings from 700 till 9am with daycare drop off.
Evening needs pic up from daycare at around 4:45pm and brought home, will need dinner and shower taken care of till 7pm.
Weekends sat or sunday will need 4-5hrs to play with at home.
If parent is spending time with toddler will request to either take care of 5 month old or if baby is asleep to do some basic chores - load/ unload dishwasher/ fold clothes/ iron clothes or vacuum/ tidy up kids toys.
We have a little 5kg dog, she is an indoor dog so you will have to be comfortable with dogs.

Our family is currently seeking a nanny to assist us 2 to 3 times a week for approximately 12 months or longer. We are looking to commence in February, with flexible hours from around 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. We’re looking for someone to provide a bit of extra help in the afternoons and early evenings for our family. My partner will be at home with our two kids (a toddler and a four-month-old), but we need an extra pair of hands. Mostly, you’ll help out after daycare pickup, entertaining the toddler while dinner is being made, or giving a hand with light tidying up and helping out during or just before the bedtime routine. It’s a few hours each weekday, and you’ll never be left solely responsible for the kids for long stretches, just a supportive role to make the evenings go more smoothly while I am working away from home.

Our wonderful nanny, who has been with us for 2.5 years, is finishing her nursing degree this year and we’re looking for someone to take over from her.

We have 4 kids (~11/8/8/2) and are located on the boarder of Ashfield and Summer Hill. The morning (~ 7-9am) routine involves supervising them getting their breakfast, helping them get dressed and ready for school, and driving/walking them to school. In the afternoons (~ 3-6:30/7pm) it’s school pickup, afternoon activities (e.g. ferrying the kids to activities or taking them for a play at the park), dinner prep and supervising bath time. One of us will make it home from work before the bed time routine starts.
We would prefer someone with prior nannying experience, but more importantly we need someone who is responsible, reliable, and is happy to take initiative. Most importantly we’d like for you to engage with the kids and be able to ride the wave of the occasional chaos that is created by four loud, confident (and fiercely independent) kids! I’m hoping to find a gentle, caring and capable person to care for my beautiful 7 month old for an hour a day whilst I attend the gym and my husband is at work. She is a funny little thing, full of smiles and loves the outdoors.

As this would be of a morning during her first wake window, the successful applicant will essentially be caring for her whilst I exercise (in my home gym) with entertainment. She is breastfed so unlikely you’ll need to feed her, although we are working at getting the bottle happening!

Our children are G8, B6 & B4. The older children are at school locally and our youngest attends preschool part-time. We also have an elderly dog.

Care responsibilities would be full days on Thursday and Fridays for our youngest with school drop off and pick ups for the older two.
Tuesday and Wednesday care requirements can be negotiable, preschool/school pickups (from 2pm) being the priority, however we would love some help in the morning (7-10ish) if you are available. For the right candidate we can offer additional hours during the day when the kids are at school to help keep things ticking over at home. Preference would be for someone who can do all four days.

Our work rosters are variable so we generally structure your working week around that. We guarantee a set number of hours per fortnight and provide you with a roster a month in advance. We can work around university rosters to a degree, and with notice can be somewhat flexible with timetable changes.

A car is not required, however it would be helpful if you can drive. A family car is available for use. This is not essential though as all the kids after school activities are local or accessible via a short bus ride.

We are an experienced nanny family and are sadly farewelling our current nanny as she returns home overseas. She is happy to provide a family reference.
