We are looking for a regular carer for our 8 year old son Matthew. Matthew is autistic and has reduced school hours due to difficulties coping with the demands of full time school. We are looking for an experienced carer to pick him up from school in Lilyfield at 12:00pm on Monday's and/or Fridays, bus or drive with him to our home in Balmain, and care, help with homework and actively play with him until 4:00 PM when we finish work.
Matthew is intelligent, creative, playful and curious, however he can sometimes have challenges regulating his behaviour. We would value a patient, caring and playful person, preferably with understanding and experience caring for neurodiverse children. This job likely to be on going for the remainder of this year into next though hours may change if Matthew is able to manage extended school hours.
Hourly rates are $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
We are looking for a warm, caring and reliable Nanny to join our family to look after our two sons - aged seven months and (almost) three years - on Thursdays from 8 till 530ish. (In addition, we will also need just the baby to be looked after on Mondays from October onwards). Both my husband and I will be at work away from the house during this time.

Assist with maintaining the family home to a high standard (general tidying, making beds, vacuuming, washing ad hoc spring cleaning etc.). Assist with caring for 3 children including pick up and drop off to school and after school activities.
Assist in meal preparation including food planning, packing children's lunches, grocery shopping & assist with preparing of meals. Running errands as required (dry cleaning etc.).
Would be required 3 days a week but I am flexible with days. Potential to do 5 days once we move into our bigger house.

Hello! We are a busy family of five from Lane Cove North. We have 3 kids (a 12 year old daughter, 10 year old son and 5 year old daughter) and are seeking an afternoon nanny 2-3 afternoons a week. We are an easy going family who enjoy company and activities. Our 12 year old and 10 year old are very capable but our 5 year old needs a little more help and attention.
Hours are 2.45pm - 7pm. However we can be a bit flexible with hours, and if you need to work more hours to make this job viable for you, we are happy to discuss options. Every second Thursday evening we would also ask you to please stay back to babysit until 9.30pm.
You will need a drivers licence and have a minimum of 2 years driving experience. The role will involve collecting the kids from school and/or the local bus stop. On some afternoons the kids have afternoon activities that you will need to help get them to and from. Otherwise, the role involves supervising the kids at home and preparing an easy dinner and helping to bath/shower our 5-year-old and get her ready for bed.
The job also involves light tidying up/keeping the house in order/putting on a load of washing and hanging out if you have some spare time. We have a regular cleaner so you are not expected to be a cleaner, just helping out to keep the household running:) Our kids do have their own chores (like unpacking the dishwasher, setting the table - and our 12 year old loves to help out with making dinner). However they do need reminding of their jobs and to tidy up after themselves - so you may need to help remind them:)
