We are looking for a dedicated nanny to help look after our two year old daughter on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Her grandparents will be present but just require assistance throughout the day. Our daughter loves songs, reading books and playing all kinds of toys. We have plenty of resources to use with her. The role would include warming meals and feeding meals, cleaning the highchair, playing with her, doing some tabletop activities like colouring/painting/fine motor activities/cutting/gluing. We are a busy family based in Oatlands looking for a warm, reliable and highly organised Nanny / Housekeeper / Family Assistant to become a long-term part of our household.

We currently have three children aged 7, 4 and 1, with another baby on the way. Our children attend school, preschool or childcare during the week, and Mum is generally at home most days.

This is a genuine hybrid role. We are not looking for someone who only wants to nanny or only wants to clean. We would love to find someone who enjoys working with children but is equally comfortable taking responsibility for keeping a busy family home clean, organised and running smoothly.

The Role

Children & Family

- School and childcare drop-offs and pick-ups
- Taking children to their regular extracurricular activities
- Caring for the children when required
- Preparing children's meals and snacks
- Helping with bags, uniforms and preparation for the following day
- Keeping children's bedrooms, play areas and belongings organised
- Assisting Mum with the children when everyone is home
- Providing additional support when our new baby arrives

Our children have a number of regular activities during the week, including basketball, coding, swimming, gymnastics, dancing, piano, chess and guitar, so helping with the logistics of a busy family schedule is an important part of the position.

Housekeeping

While the children are at school or childcare, the focus shifts primarily to the home, including:

- General household cleaning and tidying
- Laundry, folding and putting clothes away
- Changing and making beds
- Keeping wardrobes and household areas organised
- Kitchen cleaning and general upkeep
- Meal preparation
- Grocery shopping
- Household errands
- Keeping children's items, school bags and activity equipment organised
- General family assistance as required
