Hi, i've lived in Mandurah area for approximately 19 years. I have 2 beautiful offspring-29 and 25 & 3 adult step daughters in their 40s. I have an 11 year old & 8 year old grand daughters. I have worked permanently with four + families long term in mandurah region and casually when requested. I have had ongoing work in childcare for approx 35+ years doing in home care for families and have worked in a local childcare centre in dawesville in between. I have a great love for children of any age group and prefer some interaction ie. storytime etc...leading up to bedtime to get to know the children I look after!!! Its always nice to meet in person before care officially commences to make sure we’re sll a match for each other😃

I’m Shayah, im a caring, reliable and bubbly individual with a Certificate IV in Education Support, a current WWCC, First Aid certification in child first aid and infant (babies) which includes CPR and anaphylactic certifications, and a valid driver’s licence (green P plates). I graduated highschool last year, ive been accepted into Murdoch University for double degree in Psychology & Criminology but i have decided to defer for a year. I genuinely love working with children and helping them feel safe, happy, and confident. I enjoy getting involved in play, outdoor activities, creative crafts, and supporting routines to make days run smoothly. I’m comfortable with school drop-offs and pick-ups, light meal preparation, and helping with homework when needed.
